I crawl under the covers and lay flat on my back. I would cut off my hand just to be able to lay on my stomach again.
The bed is oddly lonely without Nate beside me. He's been sleeping in the same bed as me for the last two weeks straight, this is the first day he's been out of my bed.
It's not something I want to let him do again.
I pull out my phone, pulling up my texts with him.
Cecilia: My bed is lonely without you
Nathaniel: Same. I miss your snoring
Cecilia: I do NOT snore!
Nathaniel: It's a cute little snore, but don't deny it ;)
Cecilia: Then it must be because of the girls! I don't have a history of snoring.
Nathaniel: Don't blame it on the helpless babies
Cecilia: Ug. Now I have to pee
I throw back the covers, setting my phone on my pillow before waddling to the bathroom. I empty my bladder into the toilet and wash my hands before walking back into my bedroom.
Nathaniel: ;)
Cecilia: What's that for?
Nathaniel: I have a dirty comment, but I won't say it. Your thoughts could be transferring into the babies
Cecilia: Then these poor kids are doomed already
Nathaniel: Oh? What are you thinking about there, babe
Cecilia: Nothing I should be thinking about. You?
Nathaniel: Same thing here
Cecilia: No surprise, but what exactly are you thinking of?
Nathaniel: You
Butterflies go straight to my stomach and ignite a fire.
Cecilia: Oh
Nathaniel: What are you thinking of
Cecilia: Nothing in particular
Nathaniel: I think you're lying
He's correct. He's distracting me now. What is he thinking about me for?
Nathaniel: So I'm right
Cecilia: No comment
Nathaniel: :)
Cecilia: I'm going to bed before I won't be able to sleep
Nathaniel: Don't leave me yet. I'm not done texting you ;)
