"Let's go," Peyton said opening the door. I looked up and he gestured for me to come. I stood up and followed him. We began downstairs and as we passed another entrance, Donna and Nikita came out followed by two more guards.
"Oh, there's Blue," Donna said.
"Keep moving," Peyton said leading us down the stairs. We quickly followed him downstairs and behind the lobby to where the dock was. Rowan and his guard were already in a boat, the furs from the trucks also with them. Peyton guided us onto the boat and hopped in with us. He turned to the driver and nodded. He started the engine and we began off.
"This shouldn't take much longer than an hour," Peyton announced.
"What did they ask you," Nikita asked.
"What happened in Italy and England and some tactics and shit, you," I replied. Nikita began explaining how she was asked the same thing, but my attention stirred from her, to the driver of my car from earlier. He had his phone pointed towards us and was repeatedly tapping his screen. I nodded, acting like I was paying attention and then noticed the big gun he had in his holster under his suit jacket. That wasn't standard commission... Atleast Channing said...
"
Blue? You good?"
I gestured for her to keep talking. She rose a brow and I did the gesture more vigorously. She continued talking and I began to say quietly, "I think we're being led into a trap. The drivers from the car are seeming to be more and more suspicious," I said.
Rowan looked over and quickly looked back. "Tell Peyton," Donna said. Nikita kept talking.
"How do we know we can trust him," I asked.
"He's wearing a skin-tight shirt and his current gun is in his belt holster, I think we can," Donna replied.
"You never know," I shrugged.
Nikita then turned and began to act like she was talking to Rowan and Donna as I slid over to Peyton who was at the front of the boat, alone.
"Peyton?"
"Yea?"
"I think something's wrong."
He held a finger up to his mouth and nodded.
I rose a brow. He knew?
"We'll ditch them when we get to the harbor. I knew they were faking their identities, but we can't just shoot them, we need them. I've also called in reinforcements for when we arrive."
