Thanks to SideSmallDick for requesting this part two.

JJ's POV

I've been watching Josh sleep for the past hour and a half. He is such a mess, but he's my mess.

His face is the picture of peace. His mouth is slightly open. Small snores are passing through his perfect lips. His dark hair is sticking up in all different directions. He is curled up on his side, attached to myself by both of our arms encircling the other.

This boy deserves he world. He is so sweet, considerate, kind, and innocent. He has done nothing to deserve the shit that his life has given him.

I got dragged out of my thoughts by a knocking at the bedroom door. I could tell by their signature pattern of knocks that it was Simon.

"Come in, Si," I called out, trying not to speak too loud, but failing. Josh mumbled some incoherent words and cuddled closer to me. I shushed him and kissed his forehead as Simon opened the door and shuffled inside. Josh stilled and drifted back off.

"Another episode?" Simon asked as he closed the door behind him and stood at the foot of Josh's bed. The look on his face was one of sadness and sorrow. Simon was probably the closest one to Josh before all of this shit happened. It's especially hard for him to see Josh like this. Even more so because Josh and I's relationship has evolved and we have grown closer. I'm not quite sure what our relationship is at the moment, but that's not what's important at the moment.

"Yea, this was a pretty bad one," I replied as I let my fingers trace Josh's spine. Simon nodded and looked down at the floor, deep in thought. Almost as if he was trying to remember something.

"Oh, yeah. Do you know where any of the kitchen knives are? I can't find any and most of them are dirty," Simon said. His hand went to the back of his head and lightly rubbed his scalp and neck out of awkwardness. I took a deep breath before meeting Simon's gaze.

"There is one in Josh's bathroom sink," I said quietly. I was trying to keep the situation calm while breaking the news of what almost happened.

"W-why?" Simon stuttered, shocked. I stayed silent as the blond slowly trudged his way to the bathroom. I could hear him let out a shaky breath from the bathroom. I gently untangled myself from Josh's sleeping form. I walked into the bathroom to see Simon standing in front of the sink, just staring at the object that was laying in it.

"D.... did he.....," Simon tried to speak. He lifted his head and I could see the trails from the tears. I quickly opened my arms to my best friend. Simon was suddenly in my arms. He wasn't sobbing, just silently crying.

"Yes, Simon. I walked in on him with it in his hand. It was like he was in some kind of trance. I got him to put it down before he actually hurt himself, though," I whispered to the distressed man. An unsteady exhale left his thin frame and he retreated from our embrace. He used his sleeves of his shirt to dry his eyes.

"I'm going to go make dinner, it should be ready in about half an hour," Simon said quietly as he took the knife from the sink. I watched as he exited the bathroom. Then I heard the door to Josh's room open and then close again.

I took the opportunity to look at myself in the mirror. Dark bags sagged under my eyes. I turned on the faucet and let the cool water run between my fingers. My hands cupped the water and I gently washed my face. Once my face was washed, I dried myself off with a towel and moved back into the main bedroom.

Josh was still asleep in the middle of the bed. He looks so adorable and at peace. Not wanting to disturb him, I sat in his gaming chair and watched him for a bit. My eyes soon began to close and I didn't fight it as I fell asleep myself.

I was awoken by someone crawling into my lap. They sat in my lap with their feet hanging over the edge of the armrest. Their head was gently laid on my shoulder. A hand with wandering fingers lightly traced the muscles on my chest and stomach. I opened my eyes to be met with a mop of dark hair. I moved my arms to pull the boy closer to me.

"Sorry," Josh whispered out as his eyes met mine. It didn't last for long though, his eyes retreating to look down at his hand on my chest.

"It's okay," I whispered back and leant down to press a kiss to Josh's forehead. I watched as his cheeks burned with a light dusting of red. I glanced at the clock on Josh's wall and noticed that it had been an hour since Simon said he would be making dinner.

"Are you hungry, Josh?" I asked the boy in my lap. His eyes glanced up at me for a second before diverting again. His shoulders shrugged.

"Not really," he said. I nodded. Even if he isn't hungry, he needs to eat. He is really light in my hold and it's actually kind of scary.

"Come on, let's go get something to eat. Simon made dinner tonight," I said and Josh perked up a bit. He adores Simon's cooking.

Josh slowly stood up from my lap and waited for me to follow suit. I stood and took his hand in mine before leading the way to the kitchen.

Once there, Josh let go of my hand and sat at the counter. His arms crossed over one another and were resting on the counter top. His head nestled in his arms as he watched me. I moved to the fridge to find two already dished up plates of some kind of stir fry. I grabbed the plates and kicked the door closed behind me. One at a time, the plates warmed up in the microwave.

With both plates warmed up, I placed one in front of Josh along with a fork. I took the place directly next to him at the counter and started eating. Halfway through my meal, I noticed that Josh hadn't eaten a single thing.

"Eat, Josh. You need to eat, even if you aren't that hungry," I said as I slightly flared at him. He sighed before taking the smallest possible bite ever. After that he pretty much devoured the rest. I chuckled to myself while slightly shaking my head.

Josh picked up his plate and went over to the sink. He was about to turn on the faucet when he completely stopped. His body was rigid and started to violently shake. His plate and fork clattered from his hand and into the basin of the sink. I quickly rushed over to him and took him into my arms.

I held him and peeked into the sink to see the knife. He must be traumatized by what almost happened. I shushed the crying boy and rubbed his back, soothingly. He eventually calmed down and moved his arms around me to return the hug.

"Thank you," Josh whispered out, barely audible.

"What for?" I asked. I don't need to be thanked, anyone would do this for someone that they cared for.

"For being there for me," he replied as he lifted his head from my shoulder. His eyes were a sparkling brown that took my breath away. He leaned forward and pecked my lips.

"I love you, so god damn much," I said as he pulled away.

"I love you, too," he replied with another kiss.

I think Josh is finally on the road to recovery.
