Breakfast was more weird than they thought it would be.

All the boys were just seated together with Mr. Bixenman at one head and Jacob at the other. Troye was frowning as he pushed his macaroon around the plate. He was sad about the fact that he wasn't sitting next to Jacob in the dining table.

Apart from that, he also didn't seem to like the other old man seated at the head of the table. Jacob had still not introduced him to the dad but he still didn't like him.

Apart from that, while coming down for breakfast with Jacob, he tried to hold onto Jacob and cling to his said but Jacob just gave him an annoying look and said 'no'.

When Troye asked why, Jacob just rolled his eyes before walking downstairs. It's as if he didn't matter again. And just last night, Jacob was so good to him, Jacob was making him feel things he had never felt before. Jacob was loving him, touching him and doing things he wanted, he craved for.

And suddenly within the span of a few hours, he changed. It's as if Troye didn't matter anymore. He is just irrelevant.

Troye couldn't even feel the warmth and love that resides within Jacob just the night before.  His hazel eyes were rather cold and filled with remote nervousness and just something unusual.

Somehow Troye looked at the old man at the head of the table and felt like Jacob's sudden change was all because of that one man.

And he didn't like the thought of it at all.

"So, Mr. Bixenman," Jo said as she bit into a large cheese sandwich roughly.

"Yeah, Jo?" He asked as he chewed his food obnoxiously.

"I suppose you're gonna be staying here for dinner, right?" She asked with the most fake smile ever. The other boys all looked up from their plates with cheery, fake smiles too. Troye was just too confused so he just did what everyone else was doing.

"Yeah and let me inform you, you guys could count me in for the coming dinners for about more than a week! Isn't that fantastic?" He asked with a good old laugh.

"A whole damn week?" Jacob and the other boys choked on their food while Jo spit out the water she was drinking peacefully.

"Yeah a week? Aren't you guys gonna enjoy some time with me?" Mr. Bixenman asked.

"Yeah, sure why not," Dan said sarcastically as he rolled his eyes.

"Wow Dan you really didn't change in your attitude now, did you?" Mr. Bixenman retorted. Out of all the boys, Dan was his least favourite. He never really liked Dan because he didn't seem manly enough according to him.

"Dad, let's not go at that again, please," Jacob said with a pleading voice.

"Jay, he your dad?" Troye opened his mouth to speak something for the first time ever that morning.

"Yeah, Troye, he is," Jacob said, avoiding to even let himself make eye contact with his boyfriend. Troye mumbled a small 'oh' and Jo just looked over at him with concern.

"Troye, are you okay, you haven't even touched your food? Is there something wrong, love?"

"Not hungry. Tired. Didn't take pills," Troye replied softly.

"Damn, doesn't this sixteen year old know how to even speak? The way he speaks is just hilarious," Mr. Bixenman just laughed at Troye while the other people at the table just sat silently.

Troye looked up to Jacob, hoping that he would say something. But he said nothing and Troye just sighed, his appetite dying completely.

It was actually Dan who spoke up for Troye,
