Chapter 9: Love Can Blind People

Jackson said you didn't.

"Jackson?" I glaced at him, "You know Jackson Wang?"

"Of course. I'm the friend who's dad owns the company," Jaebum smirked

My friend from a few years back is son of a big company. He can probably get you somewhere

"Oh no," I muttered.

"Anyways, you wanted a job? Paper boy? Yeah you will get around a hunters dollars each day," Jaebum smiled.

I walked over to him and sat down, avoiding his eyes.

"Okay?" I replied to him.

"And I wanted to know what my boyfriend done to you," he was more angry then calm now.

"Its nothing. Family problem," I dismissed it.

"Youngjae doesn't have a family," Jaebum hissed.

"That's what you think. That's what Youngjae wants you to only know," I rolled my eyes.

And he punched me.

I laid on my side, on the ground.

Yet I felt the pressure come all over my face.

"Don't talk about him that way," Jaebum growled.

"Its okay if you don't want to know how my half brother killed my mother and took my dad from me," I got up and faced him, "Maybe its because love can blind people."

I shook my head, and before I could stop, I cried.

"Mom, you didn't deserve this."

My eyes went dark as I mumbled random thinngs..
