"You'll Always Be My Princess...."

Chapter 4

From the corner of my eye, I see the greenie walking towards the maze.

"The hell is he doin", I mutter, as I stop working and watch him.

I watch as Chuck runs up to him, and he looks at the maze entrance.

They stop walking, making me relax.

Weirdly enough... he seems... different? From everyone else.

I don't know why, and I don't know how, but he does.

He likes to ask a lot of questions, which.. I did to, but I was one of the first here, so I didn't get many answers.

I see the runners, Minho and Ben, leaving the maze, running, as they pass by Chuck and the greenie.

They stand there and talk for a few, before I get back to work.

He really does.

He's so.. curious of stuff, which everyone is, but... I don't know. He just seems... different.

I glance up again, after a couple of seconds to see him walking in front of the maze entrance.

Oh god... He's getting really close to it.

I quickly toss my stuff on the ground, before running towards them, while a few others also follow me.

The doors are gonna close any minute now, and I don't want him to get either crushed or stuck in the maze.... in the middle of the night.

I finally make it over to them, but Gally runs past me, tackling the greenie, so he doesn't go in.

He hits the ground, making me roll my eyes.

"We gotta stop meeting like this, Greenie", Gally sighs, shaking his head.

"Get off me", He snaps, standing up.

"All right! Calm, calm, calm", Gally says.

"Don't touch me!"

"Whoa, take it easy. Take it easy. Just relax", Gally says, as everyone starts to gather.

"What the hell is wrong with you guys?!"

"Just calm down, all right", Newt says, running up behind me.

"No, okay? Why won't you tell me what's out there", He exclaims.

"We're just trying to protect you", Alby says.

"It's for your own good", I say.

"You guys can't just keep me here."

"I can't let you leave", Alby says.

"Why not?"

I hear a faint click come from the maze walls, making me instantly grab Newt's hand.

He glances at me, but I keep my eyes on the walls.

The Greenie slowly turns around, backing up.

There's a heavy thud, and a gust of winds blows through the entrance.

"What the hell", The Greenie whispers, before I hear gears turning in the walls.

I watch as the maze slowly starts to close up, before Gally speaks.

"Next time, I'm gonna let you leave", Gally says, before walking off.

Everyone slowly starts to walk off, making me let go of Newt's hand.

I slowly walk off, pretending whatever just happened... didn't happen.

*That Night*

I finish brushing my hair out and tying it into a braid doen my back, before looking down at my outfit.

Those guys don't change their clothes much, but I do.

I figured out how to make clothes.

Plus when I came up, I was given female clothes.

I slowly leave the homestead to see Newt approaching the door.

"Oh... hi. I was gonna come get you", Newt says, as I walk down the couple steps.

"Well, looks like you didn't have to", I joke, walking over to him.

His eyes widen, when he sees me.

"Wow..."

"What? Is there something on my face?"

"Besides beauty?"

I laugh lightly, nudging him.

"Come on, you charming bastard", I smile, before taking his hand into mine.

He intertwines our fingers, before we walk off towards the fire.
