As we're all standing around the door, I shift nervously.

"Why aren't they back", I sigh.

I hear the gears turning in the walls, making my eyes widen.

"Come on, guys, can't we send someone after them", Thomas sighs.

"That's against the rules. Either they make it back or they don't", Gally sighs.

"We can't risk losing anyone else", Newt sighs.

The gust of wind comes blowing out, making me sigh.

No... They have to make it.

The walls slowly start to close, making my eyes widen.

"Oh, no", I say, shaking my head.

I look through the maze again to see Minho dragging Alby along.

"There", I yell, pointing through the maze.

"Wait, something's wrong", Newt says.

"Come on, Minho, you can do it", Chuck yells.

"Come on!!! Go", We all yell.

They're not gonna make it.

It's too late.

The doors are almost closed.

"Minho, you gotta leave him!"

"They're not gonna make it", Newt says, my eyes widening.

"They're not gonna make it", I repeat, in an almost inaudible whisper.

Newt looks at me, and I look back at him.

"Don't do it", Newt says.

"I have to", I say, before I dash through the closing walls, hearing everyone calling my name.

"No!!! BELLA", Newt yells.

I roll through the closing doors, hitting the ground with a thud.

I hear another thud beside me, making me look over.

"Thomas?!"

I quickly stand up to see him standing up, as well.

"Why would you follow me?!"

"I couldn't let you go in alone... Not after what you told me.. Not after what happened to you", Thomas sighs.

"Good job. You two just killed yourselves", Minho sighs.

"I know.... but I wasn't about to let you two die alone", I sigh, before walking over to Alby. "What happened to him", I ask.

"What does it look like? He got stung", Minho replies.

"What happened to his head?"

"I did what I had to do..."

I hear a distant roaring, making my eyes widen.

"We gotta get out of here", I sigh. "Okay, okay. You two get him up", I say.

"We gotta go. The maze is already changing", Minho sighs.

"Hey, Minho! You can't leave him", I say, stopping him.

"What about you? What are you gonna be doing?"

"I'm gonna go down each way to see where it leads, so you two don't have to do extra walking, if you hit dead ends. Just cause we're stuck in the maze for the night... doesn't mean we have to die", I reply, making Thomas nod. "We can survive... together." "Now, come on. We don't wanna get stuck in a dead end, when the grievers come. Just keep moving and stay as quiet as possible."

*Later*

"Sit him down. Sit him down." They slowly set him down, and I run my hands over my eyes. "This isn't gonna work. We gotta go", Minho sighs.

"Wait, what are you talking about? We gotta do something. We gotta hide him", I say, as Minho paces back and forth quietly.

"Where?"

"I don't know.. "

"Are you telling me there's not a single place we could take him", Thomas sighs.

Minho grabs Thomas, pushing him against the wall.

"Listen to me, shuck-face, all right. Take a look around. There's nowhere to go!"

"Guys..... what about in the ivy", I suggest, looking at a wall filled with ivy.

They quickly grab Alby and tie the ivy around him, before they start to hoist him up. I grab a vine and help, as well.

We do this for about 15 minutes, when I hear the walls shifting.

"What are you doing? What are you doing", Thomas asks Minho, as he peaks around the corner.

"We gotta go. We gotta go now", Minho says to us quietly. I peak around the corner to see a griever, making my eyes widen.

"No, no, just a little more, and we'll tie it off", Thomas says. "Minho, stay with me", Thomas says, before Minho let's go.

I quickly hold on tighter, so he stays up.

"This is gonna have to be good enough", I sigh, as I start to tie it off.

"Come on, we have to get under the ivy", I say.

Thomas slips under, and I slip in under him.

I hear a griever stomp it's way in front of us, making my eyes widen.

Thomas lets out a deep breath, and I peak out.

"Come on", I whisper. We both slip out and Thomas checks the knot, before we quickly hide around a corner.

I peak out, after a couple of seconds, to see that it's gone.

"We gotta go. The walls are shifting", I sigh. "We'll come back for him, in the morning."

Thomas nods in agreement, and we quietly start to walk along.

However, Thomas steps in something sticky, making us look down at it.

I hear a low-growling coming from up above, making me glance up.

Oh no...
