"Shit, Ali! Does anyone know where Ali is?" I️ heard Noah below us yelling.
"Up here dumbass!" I️ yelled down to him. I️ saw him run out of the building and look up at me and Colby. Both of us goofily waves down to them.
"What the hell are you doing up there?" Lucas asked.
"Um watching the sunrise, duh." I️ laughed.
"Well how are you gonna get down from there now?" Noah asked.
"Like this," I️ said as I️ slid off of the roof. I️ heard Colby gasp as I️ fell the the ground and landed on my feet.
"Impressive Al." He smirked.
"I️ know," I️ said as I️ pretended to flip my hair and walk away.
*COLBY'S POV*
Why is she so beautiful? Like I️ simply don't understand how it's possible.
Talking to her about everything last night felt, amazing. I️ literally just met this girl hours ago and I'm already connected to her.
"We should probably head back to the apartment soon since it's light out now." Levi said. They all sighed in agreement.
"Hey, Ali come here for a sec." I️ said. She handed me her phone, the screen was on a new contact.
"Wanna give me your number. Ya know, so that we could hang out and watch more sunrises." She smiled at me, handing me her phone. I was literally just about to ask her for her number.
I put my number in her phone and handed it back. "It was fun hanging out with you, you're pretty chill." Her smile was so big. God she's beautiful when she smiles.
"Yea, if only you didn't live in America." Her smile turned into a frown and her head fell.
"Hey," I said as I grabbed her face to make her look up at me, "I promise that I'll see you again soon. I'm still in the Netherlands for another few weeks." I smiled, trying to cheer her up. For some unknown reason, I feel like I can't leave her. It hurts to know that one day I won't see her anymore.
Goddamnit Colby, you just met the damn girl like 7 hours ago. You don't wanna scare her away already with your clinginess.
"Yea," she said, looking into my eyes as the smile slowly grew back on her face.
"Come on Ali!" Her friends were already half way down the path back to their car. I sighed and gave her a long hug goodbye.
Something deep down inside of me knew that this wasn't gonna be the last time I saw her. And god, I hope it isn't.
"Text me," I whispered in her ear while we hugged. I felt her nod her head. We ended the hug and she ran off with her friends, turning around to wave goodbye.
"Oooooo Colby's got a crush!" Corey yelled as he jumped on my back. I pushed him off of me, my mood suddenly changing.
"Do not!" I yelled back at him.
"Do toooooo!" Corey yelled in my face like a child. I rolled my eyes and we started our long walk back to the RV.
"So what'd you and Ali do all night? I saw you get up in the middle of the night to go talk to her. You've never done something like that for a girl Col." Sam said.
"Just small talk. Like shes actually from Connecticut, she's 19 years old, she has a little brother that's 14 named Daniel, Danny for short. She likes to pennyboard. She hates seafood. Just stuff like that. We vlogged a bit for my channel but that's it." I listed off a couple things that I learned about her last night.
"Nice, so do you like her?" He blurted out.
"I don't know yet dude, I just met her. I definitely wanna hang out with her more though. Shes fun to be with." Talking about her makes me smile. Just thinking about her makes me smile.
And to think, I just met the damn girl.
*ALI'S POV*
"Sooooo what'd you and the cute boy talk about all night!" Mila giggled. The boys were ahead of us so I could actually get some alone girl talk.
"The cute boy's name is Colby. And ya know, just small things. Like what he likes and doesn't like, where he's from, what his family's like. Random stuff like that." I smiled.
"Girl, you're in love with the dude." She awed at me.
"Am not! We just met, I need to get to know the guy more before I proclaim to the world that I love him. I don't even know if I do yet." I tucked a loose piece of hair behind my ear.
In my mind, I know that I definitely like him. I just can't expose the truth to the girls yet. Because I know that they wouldn't leave me alone about it.
"Well he loves you, he stayed up all night just to make sure that you're okay." She giggled.
"Really?" I asked. He wanted to make sure I was okay?
"Yea, he woke up and saw that you weren't in the blanket next to Noah so he began to panic and look around for you in the middle of the night! Then he must've hear you humming and singing on the roof and well, that's where he found you." She babbled on and on.
"I was singing!?" I asked. Sometimes I don't even realize that I'm doing it. It's a bad habit.
"Yup, Anna Sun by Walk The Moon. You do that a lot, you know? Singing and humming without realizing that you're doing it." She laughed. I buried my head in my hands, embarrassed that he most likely heard me singing. I can't believe that he still wanted to talk to me after he heard me.
We got back to the car and threw all of our bags in the car. I was beyong exhausted from staying up all night. But it was worth it.
Completley worth it.
