If you're confused, allow me to explain everything and maybe help you in what you're confused about.
1. The thing about Yasuo having another soul inside of him is possession. Yes, he's possessed, but he still has his soul inside of him but he can't take control of his body. That is what is happening to Rin right now. And all this has something to do with Akise.
2. Yasuo and Rin's Justice Trance got interrupted somehow. Instead of waking up after 365 days and having memory of everything that happened, they both woke up after 2 to 4 weeks for some reason with no memory BECAUSE they are possessed and have another soul controlling their body. The soul came from Beyond The Mythical Souls which is where the Soul Reaper is. (It is a place)
