Tatiana's POV
I ate alone as I felt someone staring at me.
It was gray.
It wasn't a stare of disgust, but more like Intrest and concern.
"I wouldn't Dude" I heard someone say
It was my brother.
I flipped off josh and listened to their convo
"Bro you know her?" Gray said
"Yeah bro.. she's my sister." Dipshit said
"No way." Gray said
"Yeah way. And bro I'll warn you now. Don't" he said
My mouth dropped. Who the fuck does he think he is. He doesn't even fucking know me. Yeah I'm a serpent but Serpents aren't bad people. Yeah we get in trouble but we aren't bad. We are a family. We support each other and protect each other. I sure as hell know that the gang is a better family to me than he and mom are.
"How tho. I talked to her earlier and she doesn't seem bad" Gray said
"Bro she's fooling you. She's not a good person." Josh said
Oh he is so getting his ass beat. What the actual fuck. I might have an actual friend and josh is ruining it.
"Bro but how is she a bad person" gray asked
"Well She's been in an out of jail for aggression and fights" josh said
How the fuck does he know that. Did he go through my personal files or something creepy like that. It's not my fault that mom abandoned me and I had to live around violence. He grew up in a gated community. I went to jail because I had to defend my self from people trying to jump me in school and outside of school. Plus the stupid ass police hate the Serpents and will find any excuse to get us in trouble. So ExcUUUUUUuuuuuuuUUUUuse me
"Really?" Gray said
Josh knodded as the bell rang for 6th period. I left my tray and stormed past josh letting him know I was mad. I walked down the hall and into my reading class. I sat down and ignored the teacher through out the entire class until the bell rang.
My last two classes, gym and study hall, were a blur. I was so focused on how mad I was than I was on school work. When school ended I got in the passenger seat of moms car and drove home in silence
When we arrived at the house. I followed josh into his room. He tried to lock it but I beat him to the door and walked in with him.
"What the actual fuck Josh!!" I said
"What. Are you mad that I told him the truth?" He said like a smart ass. Oh I was so fucking pissed.
I grabbed his shirt collar.
"No. I'm mad because you don't know the whole story and yet you're still talking shit!" I said
I pushed him into the door aggressively.
He looked terrified. I smacked him across the face.
"Don't ever say shut about me again unless you know the whole story" I said as I let go of his collar and left his room.
I slammed my door and sat down on my bed with my head in my hands. What the fuck have I done. I was trying to lay low but that obioulsy wasn't working. I need advice. I need to visit dad.
I grabbed my purse and walked down stairs. Mom was glaring at me as josh was standing behind her with a red hand print on his face. Fuck.
"Where are you going young lady!" My mom yelled as I opened the front door.
"Don't worry about it. I'll be back later" I said as I slammed the doors
I walked down the front sideways as Grayson caught up to me. I jumped as he startled me.
"Hey" He said "where you going"
"Somewhere where a person like you doesn't belong" I said, not sure how to word it.
He furrowed his brow. "Where tho" he asked
"Alright.. if you truly want to know. I need to stop by the high school the get some thing out of my locker." I said
That wasn't a lie.....but it wasn't the whole story.
"Kk I'll come with" He said.
We walked for about 20 minutes in awkward silence until we reached my locker. I opened it and got my SSS jacket out of it.
"Why do you need that" gray asked.
"Because," I said as I put the jacket on, "I need to visit some people"
"Who" said G
"People you probably aren't aren't aloud to be around" I said
"Are you going to the south side?" Gray asked
"Yes, I'm visiting my dad" i said
He hesitated before speaking
"Lemme come" He asked.
I Chuckled and shook my head.
"Now Gray, that's probably against your parents rules. I don't want to get you in trouble" I said
"So?" He said
"Fine," I said stopping and looking at him "but be prepared"
We walked for about 30 more minutes when we finally reached the SouthSide prison. I pushed open the door and walked to the front desk
"May I please see Julio Ramirez" I said
"Sure right this way" she said as an officer led us to my dads cell
Grayson walked beside me, cautiously and anxiously. I could tell he wasn't used to being on the south side of town.
"Dad!" I said as I ran to his cell.
Grayson trailed behind me cautiously.
"Hey princess!!" He said as we hugged through the bars
"Who your friend" he said pointing to gray, "is he new to the gang?"
"Oh no no... dad.. mom forced me to live with her so now I'm going to fancy school, and gray goes to that fancy school." I explained
"Ahhh I see..."He said locking eyes with gray "step forward boy"
Gray stepped forwards and stood in front of the bars, playing with his fingers.
"Heyyyy," my dad said "relax. When you're around Tati.. no ones gonna hurt you. She's loyal to her friend."
"That's good to know sir" gray said
"So you treat her right" dad said "cuz she'll protect you"
Gray knodded. I stepped forwards
"Dad. I wanted to say hi. It's been a rough day.." I trailed off
"Yeah well living with Joshua's gotta be painful. ChiLd OF gOd pfff" my dad said
I giggled"I love you dad-"the officer cut me off
"Visiting hours are over" he barked at us.
Me and gray walked out of the building and started waking home when my ex best friend Kylie came up behind us
