I paced the house as I waited for anything: a call, text, letter...anything to know that my kids were okay...
When finally, I get a text. I opened it to see Matthew texted:
Dad, with the guys and Dolphin. Ues, we're okay. Headed to LA to start tour. Don't be mad at me, I went with her to keep her safe. Don't be mad at her either, we know you did this exact thing as a kid. She's doing what she feels right and this could be a huge career opportunity for her.
I sent a text back:
Not mad, just been worried sick. Ask if I can go see her first concert. Hugs to you both.
Then, Ana texted:
Love you Daddy! Of course you can come! I wouldn't want you to miss this. Lots of love 😙❤
And I texted them both:
Mom and I will be there soon. Love you both. Hugs al around.
Knowing my kids are safe made me relax. The guys are right. I should be proud. I am proud.
