SUMMARY:
Darby was an independent person that did was she wanted with no regrets. She was determined to live her life to the fullest and find the little things in life to make her happy. After the death of Barb, she realized that being like everyone else was just a waste of time that nobody really had the time for.
She had gained the label 'bitch' for her constant eye rolls at Steve Harrington and his incompetent friends, and the excessive need to shut them down when they began picking on Jonathan Byers. Tommy H couldn't stand Darby- and the feeling was mutual.
When Tommy thinks it'd be a funny idea to cop a feel while he's walking past her locker, Darby wastes no time in spinning around and suckerpunching him in the nose. Catching not only the attention from her peers, but the Steve Harrington himself.
