EXTENDED SUMMARY Misha Chernov is a spy. Or at least, that's what his classmates ( and sometimes it feel like all of Hawkins ) seems to think. But no one more so than Dustin Henderson. It doesn't seem to matter that Misha has no accent in the slightest and was born in Dayton, Ohio; Dustin is very vocal about the fact that he must be some sort of spy. Dustin is always watching him, waiting for him to slip up, but with the help of a red haired friend, Misha turns the tables and spies on him. And of course, Dustin has his own secrets to hide.
NOTES - Change his name to whatever you want as long as it's obviously Russian - Misha's parents are from Russia and have Russian accents- his mother doesn't speak a lot of English but his dad is fluent. - Because the Cold War is still going on there is a lot of suspicion and hostility towards them. Misha gets the brunt of it because kids are assholes. - Dustin doesn't hate Misha per say, he just thinks that he's hiding something ( that something being, he's a spy ) - What Misha is hiding is that he's gay, not that he's a Russian spy - Misha doesn't like Dustin at all - Dustin is always spying on Misha, and when he notices that Dustin is now also spying on Max, he befriends her - They are pretty close friends and, tired of being watched, do a little spying of their own - Misha is spying by himself when he sees Dustin and Dart and is shook™ - When Lucas brings Max into the craziness of season 2 Max brings Misha right along, and it turns out he already seems to know a little bit of what's going on - Dustin and Misha don't really confirm that they are dating or like each other or whatever until the Snowball, where they go outside of the gym and like kiss or hug or something
