DESCRIPTION " Let's make a movie! "
EXTENDED SUMMARY When Joe Hopper's best friend Charles enlists he and mutual friend Alice for his movie project, Joe doesn't think much of it. But when they accidentally capture something sinister on camera, their movie becomes a lot more dangerous.
NOTES - Charles wants to make a horror movie for an independent film festival held in Indianapolis and gets Joe and Alice to help him with it - The movie is about aliens invading earth - They do a lot of filming in Alice's backyard because her dad is never home and she happens to be Steve's neighbor - One night they are filming and get Barb's disappearance on film. Rather than turn it into Joe's dad (aka Sheriff Hopper) they keep it to themselves until Joe feels bad and shows it to Mike, Lucas, and Dustin to try to help them in their search for Will - Joe & company are not not friends with Mike's group, they don't have any arguments or disagreements they just are a different squad - Charles takes an immediate liking to Eleven (friendship or otherwise) because her powers would make for great special effects - As for personalities, Joe is a pushover but will reach a point of snapping if he is bothered enough, Charles is a bit bossy but really wants to be liked, and Alice is cool, confident, and a bit aloof - You can pair the kids with whichever one of the kids you want to be honest but Joe and Will would be cute and also the slowest of slow burns like seriously such a slow burn - Based off of JJ Abram's Super 8
