EXTENDED SUMMARY:
Danny, or 010, as the tattoo on his wrist says, has been on the run for three years. Ever since the escape from the lab with Kali, or 008, he's been living with her in Chicago, in a band of criminal misfits. He's younger than them, yes, but it's okay. After all, he can take care of himself, better than his parents ever did. After all, they made him this way.
With the ability to walk through walls, become invisible, and on occasion, levitate, Danny seems more like a superhero (or villain) than a test subject. But when 011 shows up looking for him and Kali, he knows he has to go back with her, and not just because he's been having dreams of (and communicating with) a boy with brown hair and tearful eyes for over a year.
For revenge on his parents, the lab, and the stupid monster from another dimension.
NOTES:
- Yes, this is a danny phantom crossover. I'M DOING IT BITCH. I know the lab thing is overdone, but I don't think a Danny Phantom crossover has happened.
- Okay, so basically, Danny's parents were scientists at Hawkins Lab and they gave their own kid up for experimentation so he hates/resents them and wants revenge
- Danny has a different connection with the Upside Down, it comes to him in dreams. So when Will got stuck there, Danny used to be able to communicate with him in his dreams. He helped Will while he was in the Upside Down, and occasionally he gets dreams where he can still talk to Will, because the Upside Down is still a part of him & the gate was opened
- When El shows up in Chicago, Danny really bonds with her and he goes back to Hawkins with her, and he's behind her awkwardly when she walks in the house
- Danny thinks about Will a lot and he knows Will is in Hawkins which is the final deciding factor in why he goes back
- He tells Kali he might not come back and she nods and hugs him really tight
- He finds his parents but doesn't kill them, just tells them to run far away from Hawkins and never come back (bonus points if he's levitating)
- When him and Will meet face to face (after El closes the gate) there are Hugs
- Eleven tells Hopper 'he needs a home' so he lives with them in the end
- Will and Danny sneak off to talk quietly under the bleachers and they hold hands but no one sees
