I try to hide away my inner
emotions with a bright smile. I
try to ignore the painful tugging
in my chest and walk along the
path of life with style.
Even though I secretly want
to die. Or rather be somewhere alone, where I could curl in a
ball and cry.
I smile and wave, I giggle and
laugh. But really, it's ‘real’
laughter I lack.
Behind those closed doors I
cry much too hard. But I hide it
all with my façade.
