I sit here helpless as I
watch her cry, her tears so
beautiful as if they have
been crystalized.
The urge to wipe them away
I restrain, as I watch her try
to bottle up her pain.
She says she ‘ugly cries’
whilst wiping away her tears.
But tears are sure sign of
something so much deeper
than just sadness, they are
a sign of our darkest fears.
I touch her cheek and wipe
away her tears ever so slowly.
She tries to look at me coldly.
But she's hurting, that I can
see. She is internally
screaming and I can hear
her begs and pleas.
Her heart is pure, just like
her soul. I've never seen
tears look so beautiful...
