I watch from afar as my parents bicker over who I am and what my future should be. But why should I change who I am, if I can just be me??
All I've ever wanted was to be in charge and make my own decisions. But that clearly wasn't in my parent's vision.
But you know, who the hell cares? I can do what I want, ignoring everyone else's stares.
I want what I want. And that is to be in charge of my own destiny. Why not mix it up a little? Where's the drama, the action or the alchemy??
Why can't I make the rules? Do I always have to be the footstool?
Bring it on world, throw it at me. Because I want to be in charge of my own destiny...
