Mollie's P.O.V.
I woke up before AJ and it is Brie's first birthday today so I wake him up, kissing him delicately on the lips until he kisses back, "Good Morning Sunshine," AJ says in his loving morning voice, "Good Morning Gorgeous," I reply giving him a sweet peck on the lips, "Do you know what today is?" I ask him, "Of course I do how could I forget, April the 9th, our princess' first birthday," "We need everything to be perfect, she only turns one once," "Yeah, what's the time," "7:00," "Okay let's get up and get everything ready,"
We get up and walk downstairs, we grab a quick breakfast and then we get started. We put up fairy lights around the room and we put up pink and blue bunting which says 'Happy Birthday," We put presents around the living room and then we start to hear crying from upstairs, We bound up the stairs, walk into Brie's nursery and she holds her arms out for AJ to take her, she is a big daddy's girl, "Dada," She says trying to get his attention,
AJ's P.O.V
I stare at Mollie and I can tell that we're thinking the exact same thing, "Well done, baby girl," I say, "Happy Birthday,"
We smother her with hugs and kisses until she starts giggling. Then we pick her up and take her downstairs. Her smile lights up the world as she see's the living room, "Mama, Dada," "Yes baby," "It beauful," "Good,"
We all sit on the sofa and then we get Brie's first present, "Brie," "Yes Dada," "This is your first present," "Okay,"
We hand it to her and then she rips a part of the paper but can't do the rest so Mollie goes to help her. We all finish unwrapping and the first present is this,

We spent the rest of the day laughing, opening presents and having fun. "Cake time, princess," I say to Brie, "Cak," Brie says, "Molls can you turn the lights off please," "Yeah,"
Mollie turns the lights off while I get the cake,

"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Brie, "Happy Birthday to you"
We all help Brie blow out the candles and then she starts giggling as me and Mollie start tickling her. We stop as we hear a knock at the door, "I'll get it,"
At the door was my Parents, "Hey Mum, Hey dad," I say hugging them both, "Hey AJ," They say together whilst Mollie walks up to the door, "Hey Brie Happy Birthday, Hey Mollie," Mum Says, "Hello Briar, Mollie," Dad Says, growling towards Mollie.
Mollie's P.O.V.
I'm not sure why Adrian spoke to me like that, I thought AJ said he was okay with us.
We spoke to them for a bit before AJ and Debi both got phone calls so it was just me, Brie and Adrian, GREAT. "I don't like you Mollie," Adrian growls, "I gathered that," I reply sarcastically, "The only reason I'm here is because your parents are dead and I'm the only grandfather Briar has," "Thank you for that," I say then muttering under my breath, "at least," "What was that," "Nothing," "It certainly was something young lady don't lie," "You have no right to say that to me Adrian," It looked for a minute that Adrian wanted to pull my head off my body but I think that's normal when he sees me. A few seconds later AJ walks to into the living room with his mum, "Adrian we need to go now," Debi says, "All right, Bye AJ, Bye-Bye Brie, Bye Mollie,"
They leave and then it is just Me Brie and AJ, I'm not sure whether I should tell AJ about his dad he'll probably make a bigger deal about it than it needs to be but we tell each other everything, anyway I'm not going to ruin Brie's first birthday. I go and sit on the sofa cuddling into AJ's side and with Brie in AJ's other side. We watch Brie's favourite show on TV, In the Night Garden, and soon after she has fallen asleep resting on AJ.
We carry Brie up to bed and then head Back downstairs to have some dinner. We watch a few episodes of Orange is the new black on Netflix and then we head to bed.
I fall asleep cuddled into AJ's chest with his arms wrapped around my waist. I hope that this is how it will be forever.
