Brendon's POV:
I'm sad, but when I see Jon's face glowing like a firefly, I know it was the right decision to let him take Spencer's and Ryan's table today. At least one of us is happy and I don't think anything special would have happened today anyway.
I fake a smile as Jon arrives and ask cockily "I guess someone got the Spencer Smith's number today?" He beams at me. "No, even better! He asked me for mine." Wow, that's some good news. "Really? Oh my god, Jon, that's so cool!" This time I don't even have to fake my smile, I'm really, really happy for him, but I can't help but fell a little bit of jealousy. Why is my little Ryro so shy? "Yea, right? I couldn't believe it, when he asked, so first thing I did was laughing." He looks kind of embarrassed, if that's even possible for a Jon Walker. "Way to go, Jon. Laugh at your future boyfriend, while he asks for your number." I face palm myself. There is the difference between Jon and me, I would have been shocked. In a situation like this I wouldn't even think of laughing, but that's what I love him for. "Hey, come on, everything ended good." He takes everything with such an easiness, it amazes me every time. "Better even," he grins suspiciously at me. "before I forget, I got something for you." He fiddles a tiny paper out of his back pocket and hands it to me. "What is that?" "What do I look like, a clairvoyant? Open it, you dork." He laughs. So, I do.
Brendon, you seem like a really nice guy and I would love to hang out some time? Call or text me, phone's always by my side. Ryan xx
And then he put his number under the little message. Aww, my cute little Ryro. I look at Jon disbelievingly. "Oh. My. God. Jon, it's his number! He wants to meet up! OH. MY. GOD!" I'm obviously shocked, but Jon just totally beams at me and pulls me into an unexpected hug, since that doesn't happen too often. "Haven't I told you so?! I am sooo happy for you, probably more than for myself." He chuckles, slowly, realization hits and I can't stop smiling like a maniac.
I'm so confused, I didn't recognize that this chapter was so short?! But that means for you, you get a double update, yeay. :D
