During Class-College
I was just day dreaming about my future...of what I was gonna do in the future..am I gonna be doctor that saves people life's every day...a veterinarian that saves animals...am I gonna be in the army that saves the country....hmm
Lucy: Darbie your day dreaming again
As I hear my best friend that I consider to be my sister
Darbie:oh..oops..well do you even know what he's talking about?
As I point at the teacher
Lucy: Does it look like I pay attention to him Darbie
It's true she doesn't she usually copies my paper
Darbie: Well you got a point
As we both laugh the principal comes over the intercom and ask for me to come to the office
As everybody makes the "ohhhhh she's in trouble" "oh girl you gonna get it" all that crap I walk out of the class and walk very slowly to the office and as I get around the corner I see army guys and they don't look too happy
As I open the door the principal calls me into his office and he looks concerning which is unusual he always looks so unhappy about everything
Principal: Darbie I'm sure your wondering why I called you into my office and why the army is here as well
As I nod my head
Darbie: Yes sir...am I in trouble or something
Principal: Oh no...it's jus-
He gets cut off by one of the army guys
Officer: Excuse me! Have you told Darbie that we need her to come with us and she will not be able to come back to school!
As he shouts it out loud where everybody can hear it
Darbie: What?!?!
Principal: Yes Darbie..the army needs you since your cousin...
Darbie: Since my cousin what?
Principal: He...umm..
Officer: He requested you to come see him today and to stay up there with him until....we can not tell you right now why but we soon will when we are back at the base..
Principal: That's right! And your a senior correct?
What?!?! My cousin request me to see me and I can't come back until what?!?!
Principal: Darbie???
As I'm hearing the principal call my name for a answer
Darbie: huh? Oh yes sir..I'll be graduating next month
Officer: Can you graduate her all ready?!
The principal looks at my grades and they are all A's and he simply nods and gives me my diploma and everything
Principal: Now go get your stuff and tell your friends bye and everything
Officer: But!! Do Not Tell Them Where Your Going...got it?
I simply nod
As I get my stuff and tell my best friend goodbye and everything she starts to question me "where are you going?" And I kept acting like I can't hear her..
When I get outside the officers got my stuff put it in this truck and the officer that talked to me in the office was driving and he wanted to talk to me on the way there
Officer: Okay..so my name is William but you can call me Will
Darbie: Oh ok Will
I was about to turn on the radio then Will slapped my hand
Will: No! HE!...I mean..don't touch that!
Darbie: Okay calm down Will!
He just sat back and started driving and we went by my house and I got my stuff and everything and we are off to there base..I wonder why my cousin requested me...
