young ladies exclude themselves

male privilege carries on
from Hollywood to the Whitehouse
on stage
a women dutifully hands a statue from one man to another
while an admitted 'pussy grabber'
leads the free world
from Wollstonecraft to Woolf
Beauvoir to Angelou
from suffragettes to Guerrilla Girls
we must
demand courageous leaders
we must demand statecraft
from personal relationships
and all our interactions
we must demand it of ourselves
withstand and stand with
from glass ceilings to storefront windows
carry rocks
from Pussy Riot to Pussy Hats
and presidential candidates
stand firmly and ...
