-Xavier's POV-

I had no clue what had happened, I woke up on the ground and everyone was around me, I could hear that Mia was close by because she was talking to Austin... Loudly...

I was moved to the benches and then Mia came rushing up towards me in a panicked state. I had obviously gotten hit by the ball and had passed out, so much for acting strong, Mia helped me up off the benches and my heart fluttered, she was always near when I needed her the most,

"Xavier we called your dad," One of the team members said,

"What!" I frowned raising my voice, I so badly wanted to knock him down. If he sees Mia here then I am dead and so is Mia,

"Mia let go of me!" I said shouting and pushing her arm away, I looked towards her and I could see the hurt in her eyes,

"Mia please you need to go." I said sternly and then walked to Austin while he was talking to Rosie, Austin had had a crush on Rosie for a long time but I never had the opportunity to introduce them,

"Xavier! Don't just walk away, I helped you and now you are pushing me away again!" Mia said shouting from behind me, I turned around to face her and she was on the verge of crying "Mia! Go! Now, I don't want you to be here right now, you too Rosie!" I shouted between the two of them,

"No Xavier!" Mia said, I breathed deeply and ran my fingers through my hair in frustration. I walked towards her and pushed her towards the benches, she struggled under my grip but I was too strong for her to resist. I looked back and saw my father smirking in the distance which made my heart drop.

-Rosie's POV-

I followed behind Xavier as Mia tried so hard to get out of his grip eventually she succeed and stood in Xavier's face, I couldn't hear the conversation even though they were shouting, I was quiet far away and as I walked there I saw Xavier slap Mia across the face.

I gasped at the sight but I was glued to the ground, I watched as Austin ran past me and grabbed Xavier and pulled him away from Mia, my adrenalin kicked in and I ran towards Mia,

"Are you ok!" I shouted as I cradled her in my arms, she cried in my arms and I took her to the locker rooms,

"We just worked everything out and now he is acting like that!" Mia said as she sobbed on the bench her tears never ending,

"Mia he did that because Timothy was there he had to act like you weren't together." I sat down next to Mia and tried to explain so she wouldn't take it the wrong way.

"He didn't have to slap me or shout at me like he did!" She said, frustration evident in her voice,

"Mia he did, I know it didn't seem like the right thing but he did it for you, so that you could stay together without Timothy knowing." I said as I hugged her tightly.

She nodded and rested her head on my shoulder and then Xavier came rushing in to the locker room.

-Xavier's POV-

I rushed into the girls locker room and saw Mia crying on Rosie's shoulder, Rosie had spotted me straight away and she had a sad look on her face,

"Mia?" I said walking close to me, Mia lifted her head and starred right through me,

"I'm so sorr-" I started saying but Mia got up and she was furious,

"No Xavier! Enough apologies!" She said raising her face and pointing a finger at me,

"You slapped me and shoved me and put me down like I was nothing to you, I don't care if your dad hurts me then you must protect me, not be on his side when he is around and acting all lovey around me when he is not!" Mia shouted as more tears fell down her cheek, my heart slammed against my chest and I had no clue what to say.

"Mia.." I said choking on my words,

"I will protect you I just didn't know what to do!" I said as I started to get angry

"I told you to go, but you refused and then my dad arrived so I had to do something!" I said running my hands through my hair in frustration,

"Mia I never want to hurt you and I have hurt you physically and emotionally all week so I understand if you don't want to be with me," I said softer, Mia's angry face fell to a sad one and I knew she had such mixed emotions.
