Chapter 4
[Marie's POV]
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!...
What the hell is that? Looking over I notice that it's my loud ass alarm clock. My class is at 11:15 a.m, I set it for 10:30 a.m just in case I got lost on the way. Quickly, I slam the snooze button. Once silenced, I softly groan into my pillow, not wanting to wake Dym.
Just to make sure, I glance over at her bed. As expected, her covers along with her breathing. I'm a little surprised that she hasn't even woke up yet.
Slowly, I get up and throw on the cloths that I set out yesterday. I don't really dress up that much but today I decided on a floral cream blouse, black leggings, and black converses. Once dressed, I grab my make up bag and rush to the bathroom.
When I get in there, I spot about two girls and a guy pampering themselves. Immediately, I go to a open mirror. I quickly run the water over my face and dry it with my personal face towel. I moisturize, and apply a little mascara and a bit of concealer for my dark circles. I comb out my hair and put it in a lose pony tail, my side swept bangs left out.
For the finishing touches I slip in my diamond studs and apply some Chapstick. Satisfied, I collect all my things and rush back into my room.
After making sure that I have everything for what is probably now the third time, I lift my bag over my shoulder with my book in one hand, and my key in the other.
Just before I leave, a soft voice from behind me whispers, "Happy first day."
Recognizing the voice as Dympna's, I smile, "Thanks, you too. Get some sleep." And with that I rush out the door and out of the dorm area to the corridors where my class, Creative writing 101 is.
Since I have about twenty minutes, I take my time. The cool breeze brushes against my exposed skin as I look up into the half blue half orange and red sky.
'So beautiful,' I think to myself as I continue to admire the vibrant colors of the atmosphere.
"Hey." A deep voice greets from behind me, breaking me from my daze.
Turning around, I notice the person is someone I really could go without seeing in the morning this close. "Ethan? What are you doing here?"
His green eyes smile before his lips do as he scratches the back of his neck. A nervous habit, I guess. "Yeah, well I uh have a class. Creative Writing?"
Trying not to get distracted by his beautifully flexed bicep, "Oh! You have Creative Writing?" I mentally bitch slap myself.
'He just said that you dumbass.' I scold mentally.
But he doesn't seem to mind, he just nods his head with a perfect grin on his perfect face. Damn he's sexy.
"Yeah, I have that too. Do want to maybe..." I hesitantly mumble as I nervously grab my elbow.
Goodness what is wrong with me? I'm usually really outgoing when it comes to guys. So now, all of sudden, I meet an incredibly hot guy and get all shy? I must be still a bit sleepy...yeah that's it. I'm halfway sleep and the...jet lag? Yeah, jet lag is fucking with my common sense.
To add on to my mortification, Ethan touches my shoulder with a really cute worried look on his face. Yep definitely jet lag.
"Are you okay? You kind of dozed off there." He smirks, his fingers still tenderly wrapped around my shoulder.
Oh dear baby Jesus. Clearing my throat, I internally shake away the nerves and plaster the best probably most strained smile I can, "Yeah. I'm cool. Yep, totally chill."
