Whisper Melodies[Poetry]

Hope

There is a power in you,
The one that can change the world.
Maybe not the whole,
But let's start with yours.
A dim light is still there,
Hope is to see the candle burn.
Hold on to your thoughts,
It's far from an end right now.
Just start something in yourself,
A sparkle,
A firework,
Or millions of butterflies.
Open your wings for once,
Save your life,
Be your angel at least this time.
Nobody's gonna hold you forever,
But tie it to yourself,
So you see there was someone to care.
Cry for once,
Laugh it loud,
Bring something to ignite your soul,
Let your body burn with hope.
Then look around,
Find your chance,
Grab it and make it for a change.
It's so easy to give up,
Born are the fighters who live.
Just take a glance at the world,
Fight for something you believe,
Something you cherish,
Do make you live even more.
And when you find the path,
Let your hope make your way.
