Your Smile

Do you feel the glow in you?
The power that subsides deep within your soul.
As my feet move back and forth,
You are the only one keeping my soil dry.

The only hope is the light in your eyes,
Hate to see they are losing their gleam.
I can't seem to move myself,
I want to end your miseries.

Every day I try to be better,
To be the one whom you loved once.
My eyes betray me,
So do my soul,
I can't be the same,
To whom I am not anymore.
The picture hurts me,
It can't be perfect,
Apply any colour you want.

I have to finish this baby,
To the cause of your pain,
This is the only thing to your relief.
You won't even know I am gone,
It would be better if you just moved on,
Because I know someone will treat you like a queen,
I don't have the power to do that anymore.

The coward they will call me,
Let them say what they will,
I won't be the reason of your tears anymore.
As you sleep at night,
Thinking how will you pass the punishment next day,
I kiss your head,
Smile to you at last,
So what if I didn't say goodbye?
This is your happiness, love,
I can't be selfish,
Won't stop your smile.

You offered your colours to paint my life,
Now I give you my only colour,
To fight the dark,
To portray a picture,

Where there is no longer the tears and cries,
It's just you and your smile.
