Three Words

How do I start?
This start has no ending.
Who to blame?
Me or my love?
If I could turn,
I would have thousand times to say those words.
Only three words you wanted me to say,
Acting insecure I laid.
Maybe my grip became too tight,
Or It was never fine.
Apologies are too easy,
I would do it for many lives if it means to get you back.
If I say I never meant to,
Would you believe me?
Laughing at my deed,
I am dead without you.
What I did was to protect you,
Not from anyone but me.
I could hurt you,
As similar done to me before.
When time passes you will see the change,
Without me,
your life will be better everyday.
This is the time I convince myself for your good,
Steps taken to move only reach to you.
A definite part of my heart has printed your name,
Only if anyone knows how much of pain it takes.
I am empty inside,
Dark and doomed.
You are a path of light,
Waiting for me to curse.
This is what I never wanted,
To destroy your part of life,
But when you say,
'You were all I wanted'
It breaks me down.
Never doubt my love for you,
All I will ever do is pray for your good.
Maybe I took a wrong decision,
Maybe I could have said those words,
But maybe exists only in the past,
I am willing to shield you from my dark.
If saving you from me can break me now,
I am up for laying my shattered pieces,
With flowers above,
To let you walk.
