Prompt: Based on the sound "Circles"-Pierce The Veil

Do you ever feel that life is just a circle? Same with love. You crush over someone, you end up telling them or them finding out, then the rejection because you aren't pretty or an easy lay or just not as good as the Queen B or slut of the school. However, there's one person. That person is Nightwing. He wouldn't end up being with a nobody like me. I work as a doctor and a nurse at Gotham General. Today was like no other day. They needed help so I went.

I didn't expect Nightwing to be on a hospital bed, bleeding out. He gave me a million dollar smile. I heard his heart beat.

Do you hear my heart beat thump over the monitors?
You pretend to close your eyes

Pieces of candy and leaks of light (leaks of light)
Paint the floor 'round me
Then without hesitating (hesitating)

Next thing I know, we've become friends. He comes to my apartment for coffee and a general chat. However, he grabbed my hand and we ran. I didn't know why but we ran. Ran across the rooftops as bullets flew passed us. We came to a dead end. We were trapped. He told me to save myself but I couldn't. I couldn't leave him.

You took my hand and then we both started running
Both started running, there's no place to go
Another bullet and we both started running

Nowhere to go and so we both spin around in circles (circles)

This felt like a dream. We glanced at each other. He had tears in his eyes. I knew he never wanted this to happen. He wanted to protect him but in reality, we were in a labyrinth of problems. All I thought about was that Heaven's waiting for me.

Creeping through these labyrinths I find
Another dead end to the weekend
But is this real life?
Paper hearts turned ash begin to fly
Over our heads I begin
Screaming while the exit signs read "Heaven's waiting"

Screams echoed through the streets. Screams telling us to go. Nightwing looked back to see Red Hood and someone else fighting off the attackers. Nightwing wrapped his arm around my waist and grappled away.

We ran. We kept running for our lives. It wasn't save in Gotham City. No for us anymore. There's no place to go and people will die because of us. After an hour, we stopped and sat down on a near by bench. He gently grabbed my cheeks and turned my head to face him.

And I said, "Hey, what's on your mind?"
I think about my life without you and I start to cry
And I said, "Hey, it's alright"
We'll make it. I love you and I'll never leave your side
Whoa oh

Next thing I know, thugs were storming down the street when they saw us. We smirked to each other and ran. We ran like the wind.

Life is just a giant circle.
