RAVEN

I woke up the next morning, earlier than I normally would have. I told the staff I passed hello and good morning and made my way outside, My wolf wasn't exactly longing for a run so instead I thought I would just take a walk around the lake.

But no sooner had I settled to have my walk did my wolf feel his.

"Good Morning Princess, seems our wolves wanted us to come out this morning."

I smiled. I knew People of the household would be watching us intently but the worst they'd be able to report back was that we met up outside to talk.

"I was just about to have a walk," I admitted before holding my hand out to him. "Care to join me?"

He smiled and took a hold of my hand and together we walked and talked.

Maybe it was the cooler climate up here or simply anxious nerves but I was shivering.

"You're cold...here." he said as he stopped us from walking, unzipped his jacket and removed it before putting it over my shoulders.

I smiled up at him, "Thank you...you know, I think you know more about me than I know about you." I put in.

"I know what everyone else in the pack knows and that is that you are Alpha Archer's youngest child and only daughter, you went to an all girls school, and you seem to be close to your oldest brother Royce."

I rolled my eyes and teased him, "how perceptive a mate I have."

He chuckled handsomely. "So then tell me what I don't know."

I nodded and smirked at his persistance, "Well my name middle name is Juliette, I hate the woman who raised me and would hardly call her my mother along side her prick of a son...neither have ever been any kind of family to me that is why I was so instantly drawn to Royce, he was the older brother I never had, we had so many things in common, he's never done wrong by me, and even has this damn urge to protect me the way a brother should I guess."

I smirked, "But other than that I love music, all kinds really but I'm partial to classic rock...mostly 80s, Ratt, Bon Jovi, Def Leopard, Scorpions... I hate school but love spending time with friends...or rather I did love spending time with them, hate Math, tolerate English, love History, Unapologetically unathletic for a Were or rather I'm just really lazy...um, I don't know...I love ice cream don't care for brownies, favorite season is fall but favorite holiday is the day after Valentine's Day when all the candy is on sale."

He chuckled and just looked at me, but his gaze was so intense that I couldn't help but smile and turn away from him...it felt so strange to be so hyperaware of myself. I've never been a blushing sort of girl but I felt my entire face heat up slightly as he looked at me

'I hope I'm not blushing...how embarrasing.'

'You aren't blushing...but I'm feeling just as excited and nervous as you are.'

I looked up at him again and found a nervous smile on his worried face, I smiled and watched as the back of his neck and the tops of his ears flushed red before his smile turned more sweet.

I moved so that I could lean in and hug him, and thankfully he anticipated my hug as he wrapped his arms around me. I closed my eyes and let him hold me, just taking in his scent and relishing his touch.

As much I could stay in his arms for the rest of the day I wanted to learn as much about him as I could before I had to unfortunately go to school.

"So...tell me about The Titan." I teased, using the nickname I've heard both my brother and Dad use when talking him.

He smirked..." Um, well they started calling me The Titan when I turned 15 and started football...it was a way for me to push people around, I'm in the middle out of us kids, my older brother's name is Jameson he's four years older than me and we share both parent's and my little sister's name is Charlene but we call her Charlie or Char and shes nine." He smiled.

"Charlie is my half sister and her dad's my Mom's mate, I'm happy for them but he's away a lot because of work so I worry about my mom and Charlie being alone since Jameson's away in Black Creek now i'm living here now."

I felt bad for him, "You're sweet to care so much for them."

He shrugged, "Of course I care about them, they're my family."

I smiled, "Speaking of Family...so you and Nat are cousins."

"Second cousins to be exact, Nat and my mom are cousins but were so close they were like sisters growing up even though my moms like older than her by like ten years or so...anyways there isn't much to tell about myself...you already know I like football, and I'm kind of known for being a sponteous hot head...both have gotten me into some tough shit...uh, I actually did really good in school and came in as runner up for salutatorian, but she was in the classes that offered college credits and I missed school a shit load."

He smirked at me, when I made a face to let him know I was impressed "...Lets see, I had my first kiss when I was 14, I was always tall for my age and it was from some high school girl I don't even remember her name to be honest, My Wolf is one of my best friends as well as my main moral compass so I go to him for a lot and sometimes I speak out loud to him forgetting that he's a part of me so people probably think I'm crazy..."

"I talk to my wolf too...but mostly silent debates." I offered.

"Uh, I guess I'm pretty much an open book." He shrugged.

In return I shrugged, "I don't even know what to ask."

"We will get to know more about each other on our own time," He sounded as he took my hand into his own. The small gesture felt amazing.  "Right now I need to get you to school and then meet up with your brother for a meeting."

"You know he's going to ask if we had sex right?"

Once again his neck flared with a deep blush and I couldn't help but pull his face down so I could kiss him once again before we took off.
