Unlikely (Nerd! Fresh x Jock! Paperjam)

Chapter Three

*Fresh POV*

After I threw my ruined lunch away, Alphys, Napstablook and I walked into the lunchroom where we found Papyrus sitting at a table and waving towards us.

When we sat down Papyrus noticed that I didn't have a lunch.

"It kinda got squished by some jock's feet." I growled. Papyrus didn't say anything as he gave me the other half of his sandwich to share. I thanked him.

We were talking about the new episode of Mew Mew Kissy Cutie when the jocks came over.

"Move it nerds! This is our table!" BP yelled. Alphys, Napstablook, And Papyrus started getting up but I squinted my eyes at BP.

"No."

"What did you just say to me?" BP growled. I smirked.

"No." I said a little louder.

PJ walked out from behind BP and slammed his hands harshly on the table making me squeak.

"Move." PJ said.

"No."

"F-Fresh.. c-c'mon t-there's p-plenty of o-other tables..." I heard Alphys stutter.

"You hear that PJ? There are plenty of other tables." I said to him. He squinted his eyes at me.

"I'm going to ask one more time. You either move or you will be sent to hell." PJ scoffed.

I smiled.

"No."

I got up and bolted out of the lunchroom. The hallways were all empty so it was the perfect getaway.

Expect I forgot one teensy weensy detail.

I am not a fast runner.

I heard PJ running behind me as I sprinted for my life down the hallway.

My lungs started to hurt as cramps formed in my stomach. I was gonna have to hide. I can't keep running forever.

I quickly turned the corner and ran into a janitors closet. Unfortunately, PJ saw me close the door at the last minute.

"Your pathetic." He said as he opened the door. Then I heard a glitched laugh and a normal laugh echo down the hallway.

Coach Error and Mr. Ink. PJ's parents were coming down the hallway.

PJ cursed under his breath and I quickly realized that he could get into serious trouble if his parents found out he was bullying me.

I opened my mouth to yell for them but PJ's hand cupped my mouth as his body was pushed against mine. We both got squished really tight together as he closed the door behind him.

Turns out this janitors closet was really small and only one person could fit in here.

PJ and I stared at each other awkwardly. His hand still cupping my mouth so I don't scream. Footsteps and his parents voices passed by the door and PJ made sure they were gone before trying to open the door.

Emphasis on 'trying'

The door was locked.

PJ's hand came off of my mouth as he fiddled with the doorknob.

"The hell..?!" PJ whispered as he roughly tried to open the door. He turned back and he stared at me. I tried my best to melt into a cleaning rag but it didn't work.

"The doors locked..." PJ grunted.

I didn't say anything as PJ shifted a bit and got out his phone. He cursed. His phone was dead.

I silently sighed as I got out my phone which was hard to do since PJ and I were still squished together.

*Texts*
(F=Fresh, A=Alphys)

A- Fresh where are you?

A- Are you Okay?

A- Did PJ get you?!

A- PLS ANSWER!!

F- I'm fine physically but not mentally right now.

A- Where are you? And Why?!

F- I'll explain later..

F- Can you come open the janitors closet?

A- Uh why?

F- Questions asked later please...

F- HURRY!

A- Alright alright I'm coming!

*End of Texts*

"Did you text one of your nerd friends?" PJ asked. I glared at him and nodded.

After about 3 minutes of standing awkwardly pushed together someone on the other side fumbled with the door.

That's when I noticed since we were so cramped in here I was leaning on PJ.... and PJ was leaning on the door..

The door swung open and PJ and I fell harshly to the ground.

I opened my eyes unscathed as PJ cursed. PJ and I made eye contact and I realized the position we were in.

I quickly got off of him and stood up to see a confused looking Alphys. I grabbed her hand and speed walked to the courtyard.

*PJ POV*

Once the door opened I immediately forgot to shift my weight off the door and I started falling.

My head hit the hard tile and I felt someone fall on top of me. I cursed and rubbed my skull as I opened my eyes.

I felt my entire face heat up.

The nerd was inches away from my face. His face was a light blue from blush I'm assuming. He quickly got up and ran away.

I sat up quickly after he left and closed the door I just fell out of.

"PJ! There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you!" I heard Undyne call. I smiled at her deciding not to tell her what just happened.

"Sorry I was chasing the nerd down. I locked him in a closet." I lied. Undyne laughed as we walked back to the lunchroom.
