*2 year time skip*

Aimilios and Havoc had turned into a myth. No one saw them enter or leave the battlefield, some speculated that they actually didn't exist but were merely a hologram to terrify the enemy. Those are the ones that never saw them on the battlefield.

Havoc was a force of, well of havoc, they were a wave of destruction where ever they went.

Everyone thought the chief brought the covenant to its knees, but under the black out lines Havoc had the Covenant running like chickens without heads. The battle of Sharia Lu.... Marines destroy multiple scarabs, that's what the UNSC told the press. In truth Havoc destroyed those scarabs. Leaving without a trace and letting the marines take the credit. Harper wanted to send Havoc to work with the chief, the higher ups wouldn't have it, the media would find out far too quickly.

So Aimilios and his team took the planets one at a time. Until one battle, the one that would change their lives forever.

"On the right!" Alpha yelled, Aimilios turned and shot, the Elite fell from the rooftop dead.

"All clear! That's another one!" Boom said, they all started back towards the pelican.

"Ready Cat?" Aimilios asked, they saw the Pelican land in front of them, everyone took off their helmets and started laughing.

"Something feels wrong." Aimilios said, looking around. At that second a loud bang was heard.

"SHIT YANG!" Yin yelled, grabbing his brother as the covenant pushed back.

"Hold the line! Yin get him to the ship!" Aimilios yelled, shooting at the charging forces. The covenant pushed with endless numbers.

"Where did they all come from!?" Patches asked, Aimilios didn't have an answer for him, they had all suddenly appeared out of thin air.

"Get to the ship, we need to rethink this!" Aimilios said, taking a step back, then it came around the corner. A scarab.

"Sir!?" Boom asked nervously.

"Go! I can deal with this." Aimilios said, engaging his armor ability and sprinting forward, he jumped off the wall onto the Scarab, using his pistols he killed the crew and ran towards the reactor. Aimilios was suddenly ripped back, he looked into the eyes of the Elite.

"Not so fast!" the Elite laughed. Aimilios was pulled upstairs.

"Sorry Sarge, we gotta go." Cat said, Aimilios smiled as he watched the pelican leave, he had distracted the scarab crew long enough.

"You will pay dearly for that!" the Elite said throwing Aimilios into a wall, he rushed forward with an energy sword preparing to kill Aimilios, Aimilios brought his pistol and aimed it as the scarab moved forward, into the clearing.

They looked at each other the stalemate going on for some time. "Why dont you kill me?" the Elite asked.

"I don't want to kill your kind! You attacked us!" Aimilios yelled.

"Our prophets told us to do so!" the Elite yelled back.

"Your prophets also told you to activate the halo!" Aimilios yelled back.

"For the great journey!" the Elite said, Aimilios shook his head.

"If one of those halos are activated the entire star system will die! It kills everything that could sustain the flood!" Aimilios explained.

"That is a lie!" the Elite spat. Aimilios reached back and brought out the footage from the chief's helmet cam. It showed when 343 Guilty spark explained what the ring did. The Elite looked at the footage in shock.
