Aimilios-727 snatched his helmet as he ran to the control deck, he saw the huge amount of carnage and growled lowly.
"The Covenant led them here." He said walking up.
"Whats the call Admiral? Where do they need us most?" Boom asked standing by Johnson.
"Im sending you to Cardale, try and secure the crash sight and punch a hole, I doubt there would be any survivors but check in case." Johnson said, he looked to Aimilios-727.
"She may already be dead, but if you find her get back here immediately!" Johnson said, Aimilios-727 nodded and pulled his helmet over his sky blue eyes, he turned and ran down to the flight deck. Meeting Cat and someone he did not expect.
"I thought you were still recovering?" Aimilios-727 said smirking. Yin and Yang walked forward.
"You should know boss, no one messes with our home." Yang said walking with Havoc.
Cat started up the engine and they flew over the city.
"Juliette say when." Cat said suddenly.
"Drop in 3,2,1. Engines down." Juliette said, Aimilios-727 felt the pelican drop down at high rates of speed. Everyone was bracing as the pressure exuded.
"Power on." Juliette said, the engines roared and the pelican stopped, Aimilios-727 heard the main gun firing.
"They know we're here! Let's get a move one people!"Aimilios-727 yelled opening the door and jumping out into the flood horde, firing rifles they pushed a path through the area. They reached a large building.
"Valkyrie pulse! Anything alive in there!?" Aimilios-727 yelled.
"Negative, filled with these things and that's it!" Valkyrie yelled back over the gunfire. They pushed their way closer to the ship when Aimilios-727 found Alice's building, it looked covered in flood mass and Aimilios-727 growled running up the stairs, he burst through the door and aimed around every corner,no bodies, but there was a certain stench,most of it kept away by the suit, the little that remained reminded Aimilios-727 of the stench of a rotting corpse.
"Aimilios we've got humans in the next building over!" Valkyrie yelled, Aimilios-727 ran up the stairs to the roof, he activated his thermal vision and saw the people, it looked like many were stacked against a door, and he knew why, the mass of flood on the other side of the door was unbelievable, it looked like one solid mass.
"Cat we have survivors on my position, we need to move fast there are a shit ton of flood closing in." Aimilios-727 radioed.
"Rodger Aimilios-727, I am inbound,keep them off me!" Cat responded. Aimilios-727 watched as the flood slowly began breaking the door down.
"Shit! Alright, time to show why spartans are so great!" Aimilios-727 yelled and ran forward off the building, he landed through the roof landing on an Elite corpse. Havoc landed and began firing keeping the huge mass of flood, a spore got through and ran towards one of the civilians, Aimilios-727 looked up to see the flood jump.... at Alice! He dove forward but the flood was already to far away, suddenly Asaroth landed through the roof and grabbed the flood spore smashing it in his hands.
"Nice job,Asaroth! " Aimilios-727 said, turning around and firing into the Mass protecting the civilians, then they blocked the door again and leaned against the barricade. Boom shooting through the little hole he left, screaming a great battle cry
"COME GETS SOME YOU BITCHY LITTLE FUCKS, YEAH! LET'S GET IT!" .
"Its the spartans! Thank god you guys are here!" A marine said running up, one of the few with an actual rifle. Aimilios-727 nodded and then reached up and took off his helmet.
