Both Alexander and I walked through the revolving doors and into his companies building. My mouth was open ajar as I took in the glorious details.

In all honesty, I found this building alot more alluring then Marcus'. While Marcus' one was pearly white and cliché,  Alexanders building was more dark and mysterious. Even the walls were made of black leather.

After our little discussion at the restaurant, we agreed to come down here and try to figure out who Marcus' inside man was.

We walked passed and the receptionist gave us a wide smile.

"Evening Mr Celeste, ma'am."

I couldn't help but return her smile. She seemed a lot more polite than the other receptionist I had met only hours ago.

This one had fiery red hair and big square glasses that gave her a friendly, yet professional look.

"Evening Joanne," Alexander replied back giving her a curt nod. At least he had the decency to acknowledge her.

Unlike some others.

We arrived at a door which Alexander pulled open. I peered inside and was greeted by a staircase that led downstairs.

"Oh," I inquired amused, "No fancy elevators?" I said with a small grin as I glanced up at Alexander.

Alexander meerly gestured me in. I began decending down the stairs, my red heels slapping onto the concrete.

"Well Ms Strikings. We are taking the back entry," he said with a light tone as he closed the door behind us and trailed closely behind me.

We took a left turn and I was greeted with what looked like an underground lab.

Though, instead of beakers and chemical tubes, there were computers with digits speeding across the scene. Papers scattered lazily around the floor and chairs were lying around admissibly.

"This way," Alexander bellowed as he placed his hand on the small of my back.

My heart skipped a beat and I felt colour rushed to my cheeks as the warmth of his hand made me nervous. For some reason I felt like my old self, Samantha, around him.

We took a sharp turn and three men sat around laughing as they typed behind desks.

"Mr Celeste!" a man greeted as he stood up. The others respectfully nodded and their chatter disappeared.

"Boys, make Victoria here feel welcome. Shes from.. Williams industries," Alexander said in a clipped tone as he gave me a small smile.

The three men in the room looked at me in disgust. I couldn't blame them. They thought I was one of Marcus' workers.

Which, technically I was.

Not willingly, I thought grimly.

"She is merely here to expand her knowledge on finance. Also my friend," he said with a pause, "-I trust you'll help her."

"Of course sir," a man with dark brown hair said with a tight smile.

Alexander leaned down and his mouth hovered close to my ear.

"I'll leave it to you," he said in a husky tone and I couldn't help but shiver.

I simply nodded and Alexander moved back. Giving me one last glance he left.

I looked at the three men who were staring at me shamelessly. I cleared my throat and put on a bright smile.

"Well hello boys. Anyone willing to help?" I asked batting my eyelashes.
