Flying?

Toothless' POV

'Hey, Toothless. I brought breakfast. I hope you're hungry!' My hatchling said.

I crooned happily, 'Thank you!' He tipped over a basket or whatever it was called. 

'Okay, that's disgusting. Uh... we've got some salmon, some nice Icelandic cod, and a whole smoked eel.' Wait, WHAT?! EEL!?

I roared in fea- no, warning. I'm not scared of anything!

'No, no, no, no! It's okay.' He covered the eel from my sight and threw it away. I calmed down a bit.

'Yeah, I don't really like eel much either.' I grunted, 'It's not just that I don't like it, it's poisonous for us dragons!' 

Hiccup gasped, 'Oh Gods, I'm sorry!' I nuzzled him, 'It's ok Hiccup.'

Then I remembered the fish, I dove in again, swallowing all the fish. I heard Hiccup say something, but I was too distracted to hear him. 

There was something nudging my tail, but I didn't bother, I just waved my tail around, trying to shoo whatever was around it.

I sniffed the now empty basket.... No more? 

Suddenly, I felt a feeling that I haven't felt in a long time.

Why does my tail seem so..... less awkward...? Suddenly, I had a brilliant idea. And...

I took off like a jet.

 'Yes! You did it Hatchling!' I shrieked in happiness and excitement. But then, I looped down. Well, must have jinxed myself....

'Whoa! No! No! No!' I was about to shriek too, but then I started flying again! I dodged the wall I don't know how this is working, but whatever! I'M FLYING!

'OH, MY- IT'S WORKING! YES! YES, I DID IT!' Wait what? How the heck is my Hatchling this high?! Is his voice just really, really loud?

My eyes widened, realizing Hiccup was on my tail. I tried turning to go to land and get him to safety.

......But he just flung off into the water.....Ok, I did too.... 

'AAAAAGGGGHHHHH!' Hiccup shrieked, I thought he got hurt cause I got alarmed by his screaming.

'Yeah!' But he was just screaming in enthusiasm. 

I rolled my eyes amusingly. 

That was Hiccup for you!
