PART 1

Today was the day. The moment we were all waiting for.

The grand finale.

To say I was nervous what an understatement. At the same time, however, I was excited, because after this was all over Noah and I could finally just be together. The two of us without any cameras or other girls around and no more meeting in secrecy.

Anna started tearing up when she did my makeup for the last time.

"I can't believe this is it, I don't know when I will see you again," she said sadly. I couldn't help but giggle at her full-blown pout, even though she's an adult.

"I'll definitely keep in contact Anna, you don't have to worry about not seeing me again. I know I'm your favourite," I teased her and she laughed, "You keep telling yourself that honey."

My makeup and hair took so much longer than usual to do cause the both of us couldn't stop laughing. Finally, it was time to put on my dress and I couldn't believe my eyes when I was finally allowed to look in the full-length mirror. It was a beautiful white lace gown that fitted my frame perfectly with golden embroidery. My hair cascaded down my back in loose beachy waves with the sides pinned back emphasising my eyes which stood out brightly with the help of makeup. I felt like a princess.

Soon enough, the five of us were lead to one white limousine where we piled in with some crewmembers that were filming and headed to the Hub

Soon enough, the five of us were lead to one white limousine where we piled in with some crewmembers that were filming and headed to the Hub. I was definitely going to miss the luxurious limousines. The camera crew asked us some quick questions seeing how we were feeling, what we were hoping for and what we were going to do after the show, but other than that it was a fairly quiet ride for once.

We soon arrived and this time we walked down a red carpet to our seats on the makeshift stage. I was so surprised to see that there was an audience which included family members and the other 95 girls that were eliminated. I couldn't help but wince when I saw Stacey and Alicia in the crowd and not my dad. Although, I don't think Alicia knew that my dad was back. The five of us sat on stage and a camera panned around us as Marcus and Noah stepped on stage. Cheers erupted from the crowd as Noah hugged each of us girls. I felt his hand discretely rub my back affectionately and a wave of warmth and comfort washed over me. We sat down again and Annabelle Kennedy and Xavier Matthews came out and did an amazing duet performance. Honestly, the two of them were couple goals.

After a quick ad break, Marcus took to the platform and suspenseful music began playing in the background.

"This year ladies and gentlemen, the fifth runner-up is Sabrina Mason!"

Disappointment briefly flickered in Sabrina's eyes but it disappeared in less than a second as a smile graced her face and she waved at the audience. She accepted a bouquet of roses with a friendly hug and a kiss on the cheek with Noah before walking off.

It was at the moment when my nerves decided to kick in. To the point where I had to clasp my hands together and hide them in the folds of my dress to hide their shakiness from the cameras and audience's view.

After another performance, Marcus announced that Caitlin was the fourth runner-up.

They wanted to drag out the finale as much as they could, with numerous performances, ad breaks and recap videos. I'm pretty sure I grew a few grey hairs since the time action was called. It was nice though watching the recap videos and seeing how far we had come and the different friendship groups that were formed.

Suddenly the suspenseful music played again and my heart clenched as I watched Marcus pick up the microphone.

"The third runner-up for the second season of the Search for Cinderella is...." Insert overdramatic pause here.

"Jasmine Hart!"

The crowd cheered and clapped loudly as she accepted a bouquet of roses and a tiny silver flower tiara was placed over her hair. She hugged Bianca as well quickly out of politeness and squeezed me into a big bear hug.

"You better win Tay," she whispered before winking at me and walking off stage.

Another full ten minutes was spent watching recap videos and answering interview style questions on stage. Oh, and Justin Bieber performed.

Finally, it was the real deal. Where it will be announced who was going to win that date with Noah James, based on America's matchmaking skills.

Even though I've already had a few dates with him, but that's irrelevant right now.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is the moment we have all been waiting for. Who will be the winner of the Search for Cinderella 2016?!" Marcus boomed over the audience and they cheered.

Once again, the music played and it wasn't until that very moment I realised they were playing the Stranger Things theme song!

A drum roll echoed in the background and Noah smiled, "And the winner of this year's competition is....."

"BIANCA HARVEY".
