Terrence Dashon Carter Jr.( known as D'Jay) 28 years old, Growing up with nothing he did everything he had to to survive. Not having parents or a place to stay at the age of 15, D'Jay became a cold hearted loose canon sociopath not knowing a thing about love until he met April. Turning to the streets to make money, he started to take over Chicago and rise as one of notorious kingpins. He thought he never give that life away until...he had to. April Barnes 25...Chicago's baddest hairstylist, her dream was to own her own shop, after her father passed it took a tamper on her spirit and slowed her dreams. She now owns her father's shop after he passed away but not knowing the debts and finances that came along with it was hard for her to handle, afraid that her brother Darnell willing to sell the shop she fights to keep it afloat. She's currently dating Vince but finds it hard to fall in love with him after her relationship with D'Jay. She finds herself questioning if she really loves D'Jay. She never agreed with his lifestyle as a kingpin and that put a damper in their relationship , she tried her hardest to keep him off the streets and out of jail to the point where it worried her to death but the influence was too strong on him. Nonetheless she made him better and he only loved her, he was a monster this she knew but she accepted him flaws and all and through thick and thin he was still her first love.

Also working in the drug cartel alongside Djay until things went south. He now works as a barber with his sister keeping his father's shop afloat. He has other plans for the shop, he envy's D'Jay and wants to be back out on the streets, he finds himself in a bit of trouble along the way and his past comes back to haunt him.
