Enduring & Healthy
As soon as we took a step in the fancy building we were welcomed by a camera flash. Perrie simply smiled to the photographer but Sophia grabbed my hand, quite tight I must add. We were terrified of cameras. None of us had chosen to be exposed to the social media all the time, but that was the price we paid for being next to our boys. I know it is a cliché, but I really did not care at all what I had to go through in order to make Louis happy.
We quickly met Paul who led us through all the reporters that were throwing questions at us. Some of them seemed nice, but some others were like crazy just to get a picture of us. I will never understand that.
When we entered the salon where the party was held, the first person we saw was Lou Teasdale, our female bodyguard as we liked to call her. She ran towards us and the four of us shared a warm hug. It seemed a scene from Sex and the City where the four girls stand beautiful and strong.
"Oh my Gosh! Ladies you look fantastic but, Sophia why are you shaking like that?" Lou asked.
"Please just ignore me, I'm kind of nervous, that's all." The beautiful brunette next to me said.
"Okay, that's better. Perrie your hair has grown a lot, and you're as lovely as always."
"Lou you are the loveliest here! Stop saying that." Perrie said showing her hair to us.
"Now, El you look like a top model. Your clothes, your make up, your face! Oh dear, all you need is to put a big smile on your face." Lou said as she hugged me.
"I'm just trying to get use to this; I promise you that in a few minutes I'll be laughing at loud!"
I'm a terrible liar. It was obvious that I was not being honest since my hands were shaking just like my lips. But what could I do? My mind was busy thinking about Ian's return. He was back and maybe even living in my own neighbourhood. For me, he was a ghost and our relationship was just a bad memory. The main problem was that I had no idea why he was looking for me again, and the fact that I had never told Louis about him just made everything worse.
"I think I've got the solution to your nerves, El. Look!" Perrie said while pointing at a group of men coming to us.
I turned to see the boys of One Direction plus the boys from the band walking and laughing like if they were a group of models. They looked so elegant and young and as soon as they saw us, Zayn ran and kissed Perrie. It was a funny scene since she was taller due to her high hills. Still it was lovely.
Liam timidly hugged Sophia, sharing a quick kiss and it was only then that she let my hand go. The rest of the boys went to meet Lou but I was having troubles finding Louis. When I finished saying hello to everyone, a familiar perfume caught my attention.
"Can I have the honour to speak to the most beautiful woman here?" Louis whispered in my ear from behind me.
I turned around and he was there standing with his hands in his black jeans pockets.
"Of course you can talk to me, even though we were together at the hotel less than an hour ago." I said laughing and taking his hand.
"Your hands are cold El, are you okay?" He asked me pulling me close his body.
"I'm fine honey, don't worry."
"Perfect! Now, I've been a good boy and I think I deserve a kiss." Suddenly, his side laugh appeared and I was not strong anymore.
Without thinking it, I smiled at him and he pressed his lips against mine. My body easily interlaced with his, but my mind was away, not being able to get Ian out of it. It was stupid of me; I was spending a fabulous time with the love of my life and enjoying it so far, so why was I pondering about the possibility of Ian ruining my night?
