i stood in the bathroom looking over at the pregnancy tests that my mama bought me. i was pregnant.

"it came out positive" i told mama as she stood at the bathroom door as i walked out.

her eyes lit up.

"i knew you were. you crave different foods and combinations" she laughed.

"yeah, i'm always tired too. i haven't been working as I'm supposed to." i told her.

"working where?" she asked.

"ma you know i do shoots, plus i'm writing my own music as of now.. i'm on mt last verse and i'll be done." i smiled

"you better get those shoots done before you get big." she chuckled.

"i am." I chuckled getting me a bottle of water out of the fridge

"you and august doing okay?" she questioned

i nodded before drinking my water.

"you sure?" she looked me deep in my eyes.

"i don't want you getting stressed out baby, like before" she told me

"no mama, I'm definitely not letting that happen." I said as i sat there.

"where's malik and darrel?" i asked trying to keep a conversation going

"malik left, he said he was going to play basketball and darrel's at work" she told me

"mmm. malik need to find his ass a job" i chuckled.

"damn right about that one. i've been telling him to" she said cutting on the tv

my phone started ringing and i noticed it was august

"hello?" I answered

"yo where you at?" he asked me

"my mama house why?"

"cause i miss you baby and tell mrs nena i miss her l" he said, i smiled.

"she miss you too, i'll be there in a minute. you hungry?" i asked

"man yeah" he replied

"i'm going to taco bell when i leave here, you want that?" i questioned

"yeah that'll work. i love you" he said

"i love you too" i said before hanging up.

"august talking about he miss you" i chuckled

"you should've let me speak to him. but you know your uncle corey is having a big cookout tomorrow at his house, he wants you all there" mama spoke.

uncle corey was my mom's younger brother. he was so cool.

"i'll see." I said as i got up from the couch giving her a hug.

"I love you, be safe going home."

"i love you too" i said before walking out the door, getting in my car and heading up the road.

i wonder how he would feel if i told him i was pregnant again.

i stopped by taco bell and got august some chicken chalupas and me 6 soft tacos with a large sweet tea.

i pulled up in like 10 minutes walking into the house seeing august at the kitchen table watching the game.

"hey baby" he smiled getting up coming over to hug me, giving me a tight ass hug

"you missed me that much? i only been gone for about an hour" i chuckled.

"hell yeah i missed my lil baby" he kissed all over my face then looking in the bag.
