Ahh!! I am so sorry for taking so long everyone, my summer hours have been kicking my ass! I'll try to get the next chapter up soon.
When I woke up I was immediately reminded of the night before by the ache of my stomach and I let out a small puff of air as I opened my eyes. Looking up at the dark ceiling I contemplated the day ahead of me... it was the finals for my class but with my cousins locked up and Kai at the station, I was torn on where I should be. A gasp escaped my lips when I heard Shota's sleepy chuckle from beside me.
"Sorry to scare you, you just have an amusing thinking face," He said and I puffed out my cheek as I rolled onto my side to face him
"I wasn't scared, you just.." My words died down into a soft giggle at the disbelieving look he gave me
"Fine you got me, but it doesn't count because it wasn't intentional" I murmured and he smiled, he looked sleepy as always but with his lips turned up and his one of his eyes shut I felt at ease, none of my previous worries were bothersome... it's silly to worry about a day's plans when no matter what I will be back here, back in his arms tonight. I wrapped my arm tightly around him and pulled myself to his form, snuggling into him
"I think I am going to go to the station today, I need to figure out what's going on with my family. I love our students but I can always watch the tapes and they will have plenty of protection" I said softly as he curled his body into me, slinging his arm over me and wrapping his long fingers in my hair pleasantly.
"Your right, your place is with your family today. I'm sure all of our students already know how proud you are.. You are vocal about it" He said and I smiled pressing a kiss to his shoulder before pulling away from him to look into his eyes as I rested my head on the other end of his pillow
"Are you going to take Shinso home on your way to the station?" He asked and I nodded
"Yeah I should probably go shower and get ready, he is probably going to wake up soon with the schedule we normally keep with our training," I said and he nodded and gave me a smile
"Can I join, I was going to shower when I got up too" He said and I nodded again
"But no funny business you sex fiend," I said as I pushed myself up and hopped over him and off the bed, stifling my giggle at his open-mouthed look of indignation
I brushed my teeth and stripped off my clothes before Shota even got out of bed and I smiled when he came up behind me and tugged at the bandages around my waist. He gently unwound them from me and pressed a kiss to my shoulder, his scruffy beard tickling slightly
"You might try to see recovery girl today to just have her heal this up for you" He mumbled as he tossed them in the trash and snatched up his own toothbrush
"I'm gonna try to come as soon as I can so hopefully I will, I wanna see as many matches as I can... thank goodness we didn't have any of them against me right?" I said with a small laugh, remembering how adamant Shota had been in the days prior about me not fighting when I wasn't 100% recovered.
