**Embry's pov.**

"You're only attracted to, Ace?" Pete asked.
I stood there, my face burning.
I wasn't sure what possessed me to say anything.
Especially to say something like that.
I was straight.
Or at least I thought I was.

I don't know why I suddenly felt attracted to him.
Was it because he saved our asses back there? More importantly, my ass?
I frowned deeply, but managed a weak nod.

Pete and Brett exchanged looks, then looked at me unconvinced.

"Lets get you three home, I have business to take care of down at the station.." Ace told us, breaking the unwanted awkward atmosphere.
Not arguing, I followed after the taller man.
Brett and Pete right behind me.

We walked over to a black car, a man stood outside of it.
He had slicked back blonde hair and dark shades on that hid his eyes.

"Ace, Jackson informed me of what happened in there. Are you alright sir?" He asked, opening the passenger door for the other.
Ace adjusted his tie with a frown.
"I'm fine, I want you to see these boys home. Then I want you to take me to the station." He told the other.
The blonde nodded.
Ace glanced to me.
"This is Derek, my personal driver. He will also be the one who picks you up from school." He told me.
I was speechless, I had no words that wanted to come out of my mouth.
This was all happening, way too fast.

Derek's attention fell on me, then back to Ace.
He didn't seem thrilled, but opened the back seat doors, for me and my friends.

I crawled over to the window, looking out.
Brett was in the middle, and Pete was on the opposite side.
The drive to Brett's was quiet and awkward.
No one said a word, all we could hear was the feint sound of Beethoven that played.

"See ya at school tomorrow, guys." Brett said as he walked to his house.
We gave our weak goodbyes, then drove to Pete's.
I could feel his eyes on me.
But we both knew, this wasn't the time or place to talk it all out.
He would be over at my house tonight, demanding answers.

Answer's I had no real truth about.
I was still confused about the whole thing.
Why was I okay with being Ace's lover?
I was supposed to be straight.
But after today.
I was in shock.

"Bye Em." Pete said getting out of the car, shutting the door before I could even say anything.
I sat in the back, the tension in the car somewhat vanished.
I just had no idea what to say to Ace.

When we made it to my house, I was surprised when Derek jumped out and opened my door.
I felt like a chick, which pissed me off.

I walked around the car, tensing when Ace grabbed my wrist.
I turned to him, before feeling his lips on mine.
His hand on my lower back, as he pushed me into him.
I had no idea where to even put my hands, so this was awkward as well.

When he broke the kiss, he brought his lips to my ear, which sent chills down my spine.
"I want your phone number." He told me.
"Yeah okay." I said not even arguing.
I jotted down my number, before handing him the slip of paper.
Ace smirked softly.
"Goodbye, Embry." He said getting back inside the car.
In seconds they were gone.

I walked inside the house, frowning.

"Was that Ace Lawson at our house, just now?" Ember demanded as she ran out of the family room.
I stood there, sucking in air before nodding.
"Y-Yeah.. he gave me and the guys a ride ho-"
"Embry's home? Oh my gosh, baby what happened to your face?" Mom shrieked dropping her wash cloth before running up to me.
Worry and concern in her eyes, as she gently caressed my swollen cheek.

"Um.. I got attacked at the mall, b-but Ace is taking care of it.." I murmured.
Mom's brows furrowed.
"Come into the kitchen, we need to get some ice on that." She insisted, pulling me into the kitchen.

Ember right on my heels.

Mom shoved me into the chair, before going to the freezer.
"What did you do to your face?" Dad asked walking out of his and moms room.
"He got into a fight." Ember told him.
Dad's eyes fell back onto me.
"Is that true?" He asked.
"It was more or less, a one sided fight... it involved Trip Blackwell and his mutts." I confessed.

Ember's eyes grew wide as if not knowing this.
"Trip hit you and you lived?" She asked in shock.
Dad flashed his daughter a disapproving scowl.
He looked back to me.
"Why did he hit you? He must of had a purpose." He told me.
I rolled my eyes.
"The guy is crazy, he kept talking about wanting me as his and wanting me with him, and all this other crazy shit-"
"Embry, language." Mom scolded.

Dad looked to me with a frown.
"Where is Trip, now?" He asked me.
I frowned.
"He's at the station, Ace made his body guards bring them there." I explained.

"Ace?" Mom asked as if the name just dawned on her.
I nodded.
"Ace Lawson saved me." I told them.
"That's nonsense, why would a billionaire waste his time on a kid like you?" Dad laughed walking away from us.
The way he said that, stung.
It brought me back to earlier, when the guys wouldn't take my word on when Ace kissed me.

"Because, I'm his lover.." I said in a soft voice.
Ember's eyes widened.
"You're lying." She accused.
I shot her a glare.
"I'm not." I said ripping out my cellphone.

I went to my contacts, before showing them Ace's name and phone number in my phone.
They all looked shocked.

"Wait, wait wait. I thought you were straight?" Ember demanded.
I frowned.
"I'm only attracted to Ace." I told her.
Ember arched a brow.

"That doesn't make sense." She hissed.
"Does too."
"Does not."
"Uh huh."
"Nu uh."

"Okay you two, knock it off." Mom said pinching her bridge with a tired look.
I frowned, looking at the name in my phone now.

Ace.

Dad rolled his eyes.
"It sounds like bullshit, I need a beer." He said walking off to the fridge.
I glared softly.
Ember looked to me.
"You should call him." She suggested.
I shot her a look.
"He's busy, I'm not fixing to bother him when he's dealing with sickos at the station." I snapped.
Ember rolled her eyes.

Later that night, I lied in the bed.

My eyes glued to my phone, that never lit up since earlier.

I jumped, hearing something hit my window.
Sighing, I already knew who it was.
I walked over to the window, seeing Pete sitting in the tree.
Rolling my eyes, I opened the window for him to come inside the room.

We both sat on my floor in silence, for the longest time.
Pete looked to me with a frown.
"I don't know how I'm supposed to act." He began, my eyes on him now.
He frowned.
"I want to beat the shit out of you, but I also want to support you. Dude, you lied to me." His brows furrowed now.

I looked at him.
"I didn't lie to you dude, like Ace said this was a sudden thing. I don't know what possessed him to even claim me, or what made me accept it.. I want to say, it had to do with the fact he saved our asses earlier.. Pete, I swear on my Nana's grave. I was straight until he came around, and now I can't even think straight.." I confessed.

Pete looked at me with a frown.
"Your not just pulling my dick are you?" He asked.
I flashed him a glare.
"No! Dammit dude, everyone is seriously pissing me off with this constant, not believing me shit. I just swore on my Nana's grave, you asshat." I snapped bitterly.
Pete ran a hand through his hair.
"Right sorry, its just... hard to take in? I mean, I'm taking your word for it. I just can't process it all right now.." His eyes fell on his lap.

I looked away.
"Dude, you're dating a billionaire." Pete looked at me.
I felt a rush of anxiety attack me like a pile of books.
Holy shit.

I wasn't just dating Ace Lawson.
I was dating a billionaire.
