I woke up with something covering me and I realized it was the Golden Fleece. Sixty pounds worth of gold. I saw Grover and smiled weakly.
"You're not married?" I asked quietly
"No my friends talked me out of it" Grover smiled
"Stay still" Percy said
I ignored him.
"I promised you seaweed brain I'll be fine" I sat up
I felt good surprisingly. I reached up and felt no cut on me.
"Down" I heard Tyson shout. "Over here sheepies"
"Tyson?" I asked
"Yeah" Percy smiled "we have to go our ship-" Percy paused "Tyson can you lead the sheep as far away as possible"
"Sheep want food" he said
"I know" Percy said "they want people food lead them away then meet us on the beach."
"Come sheepies people food this way" Tyson said
"Keep the fleece around you Annabeth" Percy said "just until your fully healed can you stand?"
I held the fleece tight around my shoulders and tried. I felt dizzy and weak,
"Owww not fully healed" I said
Clarisse felt my chest hitting a tender spot.
"Owww" I said
"Ribs broken" she said "they're mending but still broken."
"How can you tell" Percy asked
"Because I've broken some runt" she said "I'll have to carry her."
Before anyone could protest Clarisse picked me up and took my down the beach.
I saw the ship come around a corner to us.
"Incoming!" Tyson yelled he ran down to us the sheep following closely behind.
"They won't follow us into the water we have to swim" Percy said
"With Annabeth like this?" Clarisse asked
"We can do it" he said confidently "once we get to the boat we're home free."
We waded into the water me leaning on Clarisse. We were almost there when I heard a roar. I turned and standing there was Polyphemus.

"You'd think he'd run out of rocks" Percy muttered
"Swim for it" Grover yelled
I held on to Clarisse as we hurried forward.
"Young Cyclopes traitor to your kind" Polyphemus yelled
I didn't hear any response. I saw spots in my vision.
"Percy come on!" Clarisse yelled "come on"
We were almost to the ship.
Percy uncapped riptide and he and Tyson attacked.
Grover was helping me onto the ship. When I heard Percy yell.
"Tyson!"
A tree hit Tyson sending him to the beach.
"No" Percy yelled
Percy jumped up stabbed Polyphemus in the thigh.
Percy somehow grabbed onto the tree and flipped into Polyphemus' eye.
Tyson tackled Polyphemus' feet and he fell. Percy landed next to him.
"Go Tyson Run!" Percy yelled
Tyson dove into the waves followed by Percy.
"I will smash you!" Polyphemus yelled
Polyphemus threw the tree and it hit the water but thankfully not Percy or Tyson.
They started coming fast when Clarisse yelled.
"Yeah Jackson! in your face Cyclopes!" She yelled
"Clarisse" I said but my voice was barely more than a whisper.
Polyphemus roared and threw the boulder in our direction. It fell short.
"Yeah" Clarisse yelled "you throw like a wimp!"
"Clarisse shut up!" Percy yelled
I saw spots. I felt dizzy and tired.
I saw the boulder coming at us. It hit the hull and the ship filled with water.

I was sinking doing my best to hold onto the fleece but I was sinking fast.
My vision was still spotting out and because of the lack of oxygen I felt myself slipping unconscious.
Suddenly I was being pushed up. I gasped for air.
"I finally sank nobody!" Polyphemus yelled
How wrong he was.
We continued on.
"We did it!" I said
I slumped over the hippocampus. Just before I drifted off to sleep I heard Percy whisper in my ear.
"You're a genius."
