It's been about a week since I've last heard from J. Although it is making me anxious, school and my social media have been taking up most of my attention. It's blowing my mind how many people are following my accounts on an everyday basis.

Yesterday I posted a photo of a cute cupcake I saw in a pastry shop window and somehow it gathered 30,000 likes. I must really be feeding into social medias' expectation of Korean American living...

School is very stressful. As my graduation in two weeks is quickly approaching, I can't help but feel insecure about every life decision I have ever made up until this point. I'm not sure what my degree in International Business will get me. I just picked it because I thought it would allow me to travel.

"Aish," I groan to myself. My head is about to explode if I calculate one more thing for one of my classes.

I slam my textbook closed as if I'm teaching it a lesson and fall into my arms at my desk. My glasses are mushed against my face but the pain from studying for so long is much worse.

I'm saved from my silent torture when my phone goes off. It's Luna.

Luna: girlie
you best believe we are flying first class

You: omg?
this is so extra!! I'm excited

Luna: yes yes yes

I click on the screenshot of the information. I'm shocked by how early we are leaving. Our flight is the evening of May 13th.

You: why so early?

Luna: my sources tell me they will land the 14th

Days like these remind me that if I put my phone down a couple of times I wouldn't be stressing this much. But, living in our technologically advanced society, it was inevitable that I'd put my studies to my second string and my social media to my first. I didn't even think about finals until a few days ago when classes ended.

I lock my phone and grab my notebook to read over my notes. My phone goes off again and although I want to ignore it to study, my fingertips are itching because it's him.
