After 10 minutes of me chasing him around my house trying to get my phone the others get annoyed

"Okay stop and sit down" Jonah says as he and the others sit on the couch

"No I want my phone" I say still chasing Jack around

"Come on please I'll do anything I don't care" I say pleading for my phone back
"Anything?" He asks
"Yes anything please I just want my phone"
"Okay here you go" he says giving it back
"THANK YOU SO MUCH.. OMG I MISSED YOU" I say talking to my phone after hugging Jack
"Oh you got a text from him" he says sitting next to the others
"That's cool" I say acting unphased sitting on the chair across from them

"So he called you pretty?" Jonah says
"No he called her REALLY pretty" jack interjects
"It's not that big of a deal it's just a compliment"
"Listen a guy will tell you what he's feeling and what he wants. He wants you to know he thinks you're pretty so he tells you. There's no hidden meaning to what they say."
"Okay so he thinks I'm pretty what's the big deal"
"No he thinks you're REALLY pretty" jack says
"OH MY GOD I GET IT HE THINKS IM REALLY PRETTY YOU'RE SO ANNOYING"

He sticks his tongue out and I roll my eyes

"on a different topic what were those papers we have to sign" Jonah asks

I go to my backpack and take them out

"Well I'll give them to you" I say handing them to Jonah since he's the oldest

He signs them and gives them back to me

I put it away and go back

"HE TEXTED YOU" jack yells from the couch
"How do you have my phone" I say feeling around my back pocket
"I took it when you walked away"
"Of course you did what does the text say?" I ask
" 'I know I already said this but you're really pretty and I'm glad we're friends' "
"Can I have my phone back to text him back"
"I already texted him" Jack says smirking
"Oh no what did you say"
"I said 'Hey this is her brother I'm sure she thinks you're really pretty as well' "
"Well great you probably ruined my chances with this kid" I say grabbing my phone from him and going up to my room
