"hi are you Alyssa?" she nicely asks me

"yes are you Camerons mom"

"yes i am he is just getting his shoes on and he'll be right out"

"okay oh and its nice meeting you"

"you are a very polite girl"

"thank you"

Cam finally comes to the door and hugs his mom and kisses her cheek

"have fun guys" she says as we walk away from the door

"your moms really nice" i say

"shes actually really weird"

"aw dont say that"

"its true"

we get in the car and he says hi to corbyn

"hey thanks for driving us i really didnt want my parents to drive theyd embarrass me"

"its fine oh by the way where am i going"

we choose a restaurant and corbyn drives us there

"thanks for the ride ill call you after our movie" i say getting out of the car

"have fun"

we go in the restaurant and get a table

"i dont think i told you this but you look beautiful tonight" he says after we order

"thanks" i say blushing

"i still cant believe youd say yes to going out with me"

"of course i said yes"

"im glad you said yes"

"im glad i did too"

"so have you ever had a boyfriend before?"

"nope i havent even been allowed to be friends with a guy before. how about you? ever had any girlfriends"

"yeah one but she broke up with me because i didnt want to have sex with her"

"oh wow"

"yeah it was crazy we were only 12"

"oh wow thats young"

"i know right at that time i barley even had my first kiss let alone have sex with someone. plus im pretty sure the age of consent is definitely not 12"

"yeah probably not. its so weird 12 seems so far from now but it really only was like 2 years ago"

"thats so weird time really goes by fast"

the waiter comes to the table with our drinks and takes our order

as Cam orders i notice my brothers walk in the restaurant

the waiter walks away and the boys get seated. lucky for me they get sat behind cam which is good because he wont know how annoying they are.

"so do you have any brothers or sisters"

"yeah i have a 23 year old brother named Chris and a 21 year old sister named Chloe"

"oh cool. so do your parents names start with c as well"

"yup my dads is Colin and my moms is Caroline"

"oh wow i always love when families have the same letter in it. the closest my family has is Jack and Jonah"

"oh what about your parents"

"um well when i was really young like 1 they kinda um well uh died so"

"oh im sorry" 

"its fine i dont really remember them anyways"

"well lets not make this sad lets be happy"

"haha yeah happy"

"well how was school today"

"good i guess i mean i wasnt really focusing on much"

"oh what were you focusing on"

"well this"

"oh yeah see i was kinda focusing on this in a different way"

"what way?"

"well you see when youre in a class next to a really pretty girl that youre going to be with at night its kinda hard to concentrate"

"oh who... oh wait ohhhhh stop" i say blushing

"stop what?" he asks confused 

"youre making me blush and smile and im ugly when i smile" 

"hm i dont know where youre getting the word ugly from. what does ugly even mean"

"youre doing it again" i say smiling again

"what, oh i get it i must have forgotton what the word ugly meant for a second because when im around you i guess it just disappears"

"i swear if you make me smile again" i say still smiling at how cute and nice he is 

"swearing isnt nice ya know" 

the food comes and we eat

"okay but in all seriousness youre really pretty when you smile i could get used to seeing it"

"ew no i look so bad when i smile"

"see id never tell a girl shes wrong cause well the female gender is simply never wrong but i just gotta disagree with you" 

"wow attractive and smart how better do you get"

"what do you mean" he laughs

"well usually the attractive ones are stupid but youre smart to know that females arent wrong"

"trust me i know that when a girl is wrong and you tell her you might as well sign your death notice"

"that is very true"

we finish our dinner and we leave the restaurant. the movie theater is close to the restaurant so it only takes us 5 minutes to get there from where we were. as we're walking i notice a familiar car drive behind us. i soon notice that its the guys

i pretend not to see anything and keep walking

as we walk his hand keeps hitting mine however none of us will make the move to hold the others hand

after a couple times of this i finally get the courage too hold his hand 

when i take his hand he smiles and tightens his grip a little

as we walk some more he starts swinging our arms back and forth 

still with no words we walk to the theater hand in hand and once we get there he opens the door for me

i thank him and we go in line to purchase tickets 

i take my wallet out the same time he does and we kinda just stare at each other
