"Alyssa"

"Seriously you literally just were with her now hang up and do your homework"

"I already finished it"

"Then study for a test"

"There's no tests to study for"

"Then read a book I don't care do something educational and productive"

"Oh my god she is so annoying" he says rolling his eyes

"Maybe we actually should hang up so you can read"

"NO! Do not hang up please do not hang up"

"Okay I won't chill"

"By the way I have an idea for when you miss me and want to hang out"

"Care to share this idea"

"So as you know my mother is literally insane and will most likely never let us EVER hang out SOOOOO I think we should pretend we're studying one time and really just hang out but when she asks and comes in my room we just pretend"

"I like that idea"

"Ugh i wish my parents were normal and actually cared about me not my grades or my sports and just let me hang out with people without having to do all that"

"Well at least you actually have parents"

"I'm sorry. I probably sound really awful"

"It's just they care more about how I do in school and soccer than how I feel"

"I understand that you think they don't care but I'm sure they actually do. What I suggest is that you talk to them and just say how you feel. Like i'd do anything just for a conversation with my mom and dad. I'd literally kill for a hug. I don't want to make this about me but you're so lucky to have parents you can hug and talk to and know they're there if you need something whenever you want" I say tears in my eyes

"Im sorry I don't want to cry over such a small thing that isnt even about me it's just I miss them so  so much. I cant remember anything about them and I hate it. It's awful not having any memory of your parents."

We hang up and I walk downstairs to the living room
