Confused I get out of my bed and get ready for the day
As I look for something to wear there's a knock at my door

The door opens and my brothers walk in singing Happy Birthday while Jonah holds a cupcake with a candle on top
"Thank you" I tell them after blowing out the candle
I hug them all and start eating the cupcake
"I can't believe you're 15 already soon you'll be driving and voting and going to college and oh no drinking and getting married and having children and-"
"Jonah chill"
"Im sorry it's just you're growing up too much" he starts to cry and I hug him
"Don't worry I can barely walk I'm not even close to driving or really any of that"
He kisses the top of my head and wipes his eyes

I get to school in a good mood. I'm excited to see Ryan because well he's my friend and I'm excited to see him
I sit in my seat and wait for him to show up
As I wait I go on my phone to waste time. I answer texts from people on my brothers team saying happy birthday
"Hey" Ryan says making me lift my head from my phone
"Hi" I respond
"Here's your gift" he smiles and hands me a small gift bag
I open it and see three cute purple string bracelets idk how to explain just know it's very cute
"I love them thank you" I put them on my wrist and stand up to hug him
I hug him and we sit down
"Why were you so nervous to give me this"
"Oh well I have the same ones and they're like friendship bracelets" he moves his sleeve down and I see he has the same bracelets but in blue

"Yeah. Well what are you doing today for your birthday"
"What I do everyday go home, go to soccer, and sleep"

The school days over and now me and Ryan are walking back to my house. Ryan isn't used to it being warm in January so he wanted to experience it.
As we walk to my house he FaceTimes his friends
"They're really annoying btw" he says and I laugh

"So you're single?" His friend asks

"Well we gotta go we have a project to do so bye"

He hangs up and puts his phone away

"See I knew you were my best friend" I put my head on his shoulder and we get into my neighborhood. He puts his arm around my waist and we get to my house
I remove my head as I open the door however his arm is still around my waist when we walk in
He sees my brothers looking at us from the kitchen and quickly removes it
