The Date
I was falling.
Hard an fast.
I knew I had to do something about it.
I couldn't let Daniel think that I was using him.
He didn't even know it was me until two days ago. I wasn't supposed to tell him, but I did.
This day was supposed to be the day of the date. The date which was just a source of entertainment to my 'friends'.
Daniel was sweet. He was caring and considerate, and I wasn't about to let anyone ruin that.
My phone buzzed from the back pocket of my shorts.
It was a message in our group chat.
Dalia: You guys there yet? We are waiting at the Breeze.
Crystal: This is gonna be so fun.
Austin: man, I have my camera ready.
I opened my conversation with Daniel without responding to the group chat,
Liz: can we meet up at the new coffee house downtown instead of the Breeze, please?
Daniel: of course, be there in a few.
I breathed a sigh of relief.

PERFECT
Μικρού ΜήκουςGraduating high school seems like a perfect occasion to pull an all-nighter and celebrate in the most over the top way by the standards of the small town of Riverange. Now the party animals might realize it wasn't a perfect occasion after all.
