Party Night Gone Wrong; 4 Dead, 12 Injured
A massive fire broke out in Farm 4, Greater Lake, where a high school party was being held on the night on July 27. The property belongs to Mark White, father of Jayden White (host of the event). The fire caused death of four; Caleb Byres (18), Daniel Cavanaugh (18), Elizabeth Kennedy (18), and Adam Kent (19), and injured twelve.
"This is the most devastating accident in the history of our town," says Chief Derek, "although we are not completely sure if this was an accident." The Police Department has found evidences of kerosene around the outhouse, where the fire started. This strongly points towards the act of arson.
"The outhouse is burned to ashes and the fire even managed to take down the back of the main house," commented Inspector Fox. "It is very difficult to look for any evidences in such conditions, but we are trying our best to find answers."
82 teens have reached their homes safe, albeit scarred. Funeral for Byres, Cavanaugh, Kent and Kennedy will be held at the St. Stephens Cathedral on Sunday, July 30.
