Chapter 13

Darelyn's P.O.V

The next day we woke up bright and early ready to head for some fun in the snowy mountains. I got up and stretched my arms as I noticed Stacey and Daria were still asleep. I looked at the clock in the cabin and saw that it was 9 AM. My parents had told me to get ready by 9:30! I quickly walked up to the two and yelled.

"Get up!" Stacey and Daria immediately got up and had a startled look on their faces. 

"It's like too early like I need my beauty sleep," Stacey Spoke in a quiet voice as she put her eye mask over her eyes. I went up to her and took it off.

"We only have 30 minutes till we leave so get ready."

The two looked at each other and jumped up. we all got our snow clothes from our suitcases and quickly changed. 

"I think we're good to go," Daria said brushing her clothes.

"Alright, did you bring the bucket?" I spoke looking around the cabin. I couldn't see any bucket.

"Don't you worry, it's right here." Daria lifted her hand and revealed a bucket in her hands.

"I also brought a very special bag, it has a lid and is sort of like an esky which will keep the snow cold and make sure it won't melt." 

"That's like so amazing," Stacey said giving Daria a high-five, which she never does.

"Come on Darelyn, Mum's waiting for you," my older sister said poking her head through the door.

"Coming, come on guys," I said to the two as I headed out the door with the two following behind me.

We all hopped in the car and 15 minutes later arrived at the snowy mountains. As soon as the car was parked we all hopped out and went into the snowy mountains. 

"Woah it's so..." Daria said but was interrupted by Stacey.

"L-Like f-freezing c-cold!" Stacey said chattering as she spoke.

"Well yeah, it's supposed to be," I said rolling my eyes.

"Come on you guys time to have fun," Daria said falling in the snow and making a snow angel.

"Oh my god like you have gotten snow all over you," Stacey said looking worried.

"Yeah I know, it's great!"

"You three have fun for a bit we will be getting some skis to go skiing later." my mum said as she headed in a small building with my sister.

"Okay, so what do you guys want to do?" I ask them.

"Well..." Daria said as she kneeled down next to the snow. "...Snowball fight!" She held out two snowballs and hits it at me and Stacey.

"Oh no you didn't," Stacey said making an even bigger snowball and hitting it at Daria. The three of us kept on playing until we all got tired.

"That w-was great," Daria says trying to catch her breath.

"Yeah that was like actually fun," Stacey said as she brushed the snow off her fluoro pink jacket.

"Well now that's done, you guys want to go Tobogganing?" I said. I pointed to a sign which was an arrow pointing to a box filled with toboggans next to a snowy hill.

"Yeah!" They both exclaimed as we all got a toboggan and headed up the hill. 

"Wanna race?" Daria said getting on her toboggan.

"Like yeah!" Stacey said trying to get on her toboggan.

"You need help?" I said with a slight grin on my face.
