As soon as I opened up my eyes, I realized that I was back in the bedroom room I woke up the first time I came to this mountain fortress.

What the hell happened? The last thing I remembered was training with my team and I passed out.

Oh . . . Right.

It was because of my demon side that I passed out. I remember thinking about killing Olivia and the others, but I fought that urge and reverted back into my human form.

I had to force myself back into my human self which took a lot of energy out of me. That wasn't fun at all.

Still, though, I didn't expect my demon form to cloud my mind like that. If I hadn't realized what was going on with my head, I might've killed Olivia without even fazing.

When I thought about that, I couldn't help but shiver. Thank goodness I had a strong will to keep myself under control.

I slowly rose up from the bed and looked around. That's when I noticed Olivia was sleeping on a chair next to my bed.

Despite wearing her armor, expecting a fight, she was defenseless in her current condition. How long as she been watching over me?

I wondered about that while staring at Olivia. Thanks to that, I couldn't help but feel guilty for what I did before.

I almost killed Olivia. I consider Olivia like a sister, so the fact that I tried to end her life was putting me on edge.

While I was reflecting on my actions, Olivia started to wake up. She started rubbing her eyes when she soon noticed that I was awake.

"You know," I began, "if you're going to stand guard to protect me, sleeping on the job is a no go."

I gave her a smile with my comment. Before I could say anything else, Olivia lunged at me with all her might.

"You're okay!" She beamed with joy.

I can't breathe! You're suffocating me!

Since Olivia was hugging me with everything she had, she was making it harder for me to breathe. I tried to tell her that, but I couldn't even say anything besides choking sounds.

I even tried to tap out, but she didn't notice it and kept squeezing me. Please realize that you're about to kill me!

This is divine punishment, isn't it? It's because I almost killed Olivia that I'm currently about to get hugged to death, right?

Oh well, I had it coming. I'll just accept my fate now.

As I finally allowed my death to happen, Olivia finally noticed that she was choking the life out of me.

"Oh! I'm sorry!" Olivia instantly lets go of me, and I was able to breathe in oxygen again.

Crap, I thought I was going to die. I even accepted my fate too.

"Why didn't you tell me that you couldn't breathe?" Olivia questioned me with a worried look.

"I don't know," I replied while catching my breath. "Maybe it's because you were squeezing me which kept me from talking."

Olivia thought for a minute then said "Oh."

Geez, this woman was beyond dangerous when she doesn't control herself. I knew that very well, but this was actually the first time she almost killed me by hugging.

"So, what happened while I was unconscious?" I asked.

"Oh, well . . ."

Olivia then went on to explain to me what happened after I passed out. Olivia and my team were mostly watching over me while Vemon and the others were calming the demons.
